  1. Can't understand why anyone in their right mind would choose to have kids in this society. Entire country and world has gone to sh*t. Why would you bring another life into this garbage?

  2. The problem is, far too many people are having sex UNMARRIED, getting pregnant anyway, and becoming baby mommas. Condoms and birth control aren't reliable, and you can't force a woman to have an abortion either. If you don't want to be anyone's parent, then you don't want to have sex either. Practice ABSTINENCE. It's unfair for current generations to shamelessly brag about never wanting to get married, never wanting to become parents, never wanting responsibilties, but then you leave the burden of taking care of your "oops babies" on taxpayers who did the right thing and got married. Why should we pay for your fornication and carefree lifestyles? It's called growing up and becoming adults. We all have to do it at some point! Can't stay a kid with no responsibilities to or for anyone, but yourself forever!

  3. Countries with lots of people ie. China and India treat their people like garbage as expendable resources. If someone dies, they can just be replaced by one of the many billions in the pools.
Now what were to happen if China and India population suddenly got cut down to less than a tenth.
You can expect they change their attitude real quick.

  4. Us Millennials and Gen z understand that poverty and most human suffering is perpetuated when people reproduce without the means to take care of the offspring. Plus a childless life is 1000X easier!
    Let the decline happen

  5. People are actually thinking of reasons whether or not to have kids instead of just having them in their 20's by the dozen without thinking much about it like bygone generations did.

  6. Population has grown so rapidly. Many people know the eath is hard to support such a huge population. Bearing fewer babies, we can solve the problem of global warming. Global warming is due to population explosion.

  7. Boomers choked the life out of the american dream they were handed. Really happy millenials and gen x are intelligent and not bowing to the pressure to support them with future serfs😊

  8. Now this I believe, me and my wife don't have any kids and of the 20 different females friends I know only about 5 of them have any kids and only 1 or 2 at that. It's just not the 1950's -1970's anymore when life was more affordable and the social climate was different….

  9. Good! The Quiverfull movement is falling apart at the seams. The days of families with 5, 6, 7, 8 children are OVER! Now it'll be at most two, but more often one or none. This is what happens when women are educated AND there is no federally mandated paid family leave or universal pre-K (and hence no incentives to raise a child). For those of us in the "antinatalism" camp, propounded by such luminaries as Peter Singer and David Benatar, this is great news! Let's keep it up!

  10. Ppl blame abortion when Roe v. Wade is under siege. Perhaps though it is due to awareness as to the cumulative cost-benefits of bringing an infant into an increasingly perilous, uncertain future insofar as those responsible for providing for that new life are concerned.

  11. Gee, it's almost as if we can't afford to take care of ourselves, let alone bring a child into this world! But tax cuts for billionaires is more important, right?

  12. I’m a single mom wirh no child support I work and am able to take care of my daughter comfortably and I do waxing for a living. I think a lot of people have problems with money because they don’t know how to save it most Americans live paycheck to paycheck Becsuse they r buying 7$ coffee every day from Starbucks and worrying about not wearing the same outfit more then once lol. I do respect people that don’t want to have children it’s a choice. Also some people can’t find child care and it makes life harder to work and make a living. I used to suffer from depression before I had my daughter and now I never suffer with it anymore because every time I look at her beautiful face I am happy! Having a child has made me a better person in every way and I learn to become selfless❤️

  13. 5% due to climate change? WTH ever says that? We will see when they vaxx the entire world that birth rate will fall drastically if not already. Hope you all know what climate change agenda entails. Micromanaging humanity?

  14. 🗣That's cause young people cant afford to get married!! 🚫$!!!!
Remember when a father could afford to have the wife stay home with 2.5 kiddos.
What happened? 70% of men worked in a union & had higher wages. Wages stagnated, corporations are KILLING THE AMERICAN DREAM, WHILE WE SUBSIDIZE & ALLOW THEM TO PAY EMPLOYEES SUCH LOW WAGES THAT THEY ARE RELIANT ON WELFARE! i.e. Walmart

  15. You are all abunch of babies yourselves. Complaining about how bad the world is to bring children into when life is the easiest its ever been so far. Please don't have kids I guess and remove your weak minded genes from the pool of existence.

  16. It's not new, this has been going on for decades. It's not just America either. This is happening in every "1st" world country. It's a culmination of easy or free access to birth control as well as our societal structure and economic system punishes parents. It's a win/lose society, if you have kids especially more than one or two then you're probably going to lose. Where it's the complete opposite in countries with very high birth rates.
Interestingly this also ties into why politicians aren't very interested in controlling immigration. Immigrants have more children for the first couple generations. Basically, to be brutally honest, governments farm humans because that's ultimately their entire source of power.
