Honda Pilot Transmission Replacement

This video is (part 3) of a series where I completely rebuild a 2003 Honda Pilot to prepare it for a supercharger installation. In this episode I remove the engine and transmission from the subframe before cleaning and reconditioning it. I also show power steering rack removal and replace the outer tie rods.

Also, I show several methods for removing rusted and broken fasteners.

I hope you find the information useful and entertaining.

  1. Yes it was entertaining and always find your videos helpful even though I do not own any type of vehicles you work on. Apparently here in Mexico, mechanics and auto parts stores do not know nor carry silicone paste. I do plan to order one from Amazon, eventually.

  2. Hi Eric! Thank you for your video to show the people how to replace Transmissions and I do have one issue my car Nissan Maxima doesn’t go fast the acceleration slow what can I do to get back normal? If you show me by YouTube that’s be great I do appreciate. Happy merry Christmas.Enjoy your Holiday.

  3. Also that Transmission rebuild company did really well like factory Honda. I like how they left the serial number tag plus they didn’t paint the outside with that ugly grey paint.

  4. Don't get mad at the power steering hose. It just crying with joy because you didn't replace it……. LoL 😆 Merry Christmas 🎄 Bro. Tanks 4 all the Great information.

  5. Hey Eric,
Newton simply plagiarized love (attraction) and strife (repulsion) from Impedaclese and rebranded them as "gravity" and "inertia". His inverse square law equations never explained what the force is or how it worked. The scam-stablishment of his time simply used his slight of hand to recontext his cosmology formulations from it's classic theistic to the inchoerant materialistic context.

  6. 15:29 "You should be jealous of my cart, you should be very jealous!" 🤣😂 Yessir, I am! Work smart, not hard! Fabulous piece of engineering there, Eric!
Being able to sit down on a stool thanks to the elevation of the cart and making a stable reassembly was about as good of a feeling, I'm sure, as it gets!

  7. I don’t think that helped the transmissions much with the Oil Jet kit. Since they still failed later on they didn’t fix all that till later 2004 models. With a better Transmission. Thanks for the Video Merry Christmas 🎄 Eric
