    Netherlands ( whose Prime Minister,
    pedaled himself away on his bicycle, and resigned during the COVID-19 outbreak )
    took no responsibility for the rise in sea level.
    Only the marvelous engineering feats of the hydrologist in the Netherlands has
    kept sea level, from encroachment, in fact they have reclaimed more land from the rising seas!
    It is truly a shame that Florida does not have such experts, to save Mickey and Mini Mouse and their house!

Nobody will stop this and oil is used more and more. So take your health insurance cards, possessions, money, credit cards, language skills, diplomas and fancy titles. In 10 till 12 years you can burn it with the rest of this planet
    Further to mention: rising water levels, more CO2 makes quality of food production less, climate refugees, war, extreme weather events, extinction of plants and animals (humans), oceans will change in chemical way, burning of our woods, drought, diseases, plagues, earth quakes, pressure in Earth's crust, maybe rotation of planet, human conflicts about food and water and so on ………….

  9. The problem is those people and countries who contributed the most emissions and affected the least are the leaders in climate crisis and the people who contributed less to none but affected the most can't even get to this climate crisis conference to tell their story

  10. My brother used to help bring in the propeller to the tower of the wind turbines in Illinois. That is a dangerous job but it is so much more helpful to our environment so why do we not make more. If that is a solution there should be more efforts! This new bill does not have a solution! Stop major companies from using these plastics to package their products eliminate the problems and causes of the bigger problem. These people in power need to stop these things from happening but everyone always is looking out for the bag at the end of the day rather than looking for the bag after that and long term effects don’t matter when the bag is big enough for their lifetime but when longevity’s bag is deadly we hear about it after the fact. Sweeping things under the rug for someone to trip on it later and trust someone will trip and fall!

  12. What can individuals do to help prevent a climate catastrophe? Here are a few things, just for starters.

    1) Boycott all goods encased in plastic wrapping or in even a tiny portion of plastic wrapping;

    2) Take action to vote out your state's Senators and the House member of your Congressional District if they refuse to sign a pledge stating that the climate crisis is real and that s/he will refuse to take any legal bribes (aka campaign contributions) from the fossil fuel and plastics industries and their lobbyists. (Why? Because every single Republican member in Congress, as well as many Deocrats (like Senator Manchin), are OWNED by the fossil fuel industry and willl vote in their favor rather than yours. If we can get out out many of these corporate shills, we will get rid of the money that buys their votes against robust Green New Deal legislation.)

    3) Stop watching cable and broadcast TV news programs. They will NEVER discuss or inform you about our profoundly corrupt political system and that most people in a position of political power do not care abour their voters and what voters want or need but cater almost exclusively to the desires of their corporate and uber-rich donors (which is why a wealth tax and raising the tax rates on corporations and the uber-rich are no longer part of the Build Back Better bill, ditto for the provision to negotiate prices of drugs for the Medicare and Medicaid programs.)

  14. get people to bike more people . if you travel within 1-3 miles for snack food or to enjoy your day. biking is easy , drive when you need to . the more people begin to remember and do more than one option ,driving everytime , it might help. even electric bike if your going farther or hills ,lazy or old. its a lot less electriciity than electric car.
    also maybe they should charge extra for car commercials to do ads, and have money go towards climate projects. if they have the money to advertise every two seconds for commercials glamourizing the problem.

  17. The top world climatologists know near 0 about the earth's climatology. Waste of time to hear their cry out loud of climate change. BTW, the 2022 winter is nasty since the earth's wobbling to dip the north and expose the south to make lower africa hotter than oven. The north hem. will miserably enjoy the deepest, long freezing season to make the world top climatologists feel blessed from unbesrable heat in the trop lines.

  18. Are you and Ginger delusional or just willfully ignorant? The Biparitan Infraststructe Bill (FIB) does next to nothing in dealing with the causes of climate crisis, primarily greenhouse gas emissions. The FIB is little more than a giveaway to large corporations, which were salivating over the provisions in the bill to privatize public infastructure as a means to funding new infrastructure. Privatizing public infastructure (roads, water and sewer systems, the electric grid, new broadband services, etc) will result in higher fees for these services for consumers and will be a gold mine for large corporations, hedge funds and private equity firms.

    Why do you think GOPers voted for the FIB in the first place — along with a host of right wing corporate Democrats like the brazenly corrupt Senators Manchin and Sinema and the entire corporatist Democratic Party leadership? It was to appease their corporate donors while, once again, throwing crumbs to the bottom 90%.

    If you think privatizing public infrastructure is a good or even neutral thing, just examine what happened after Chicago's mayor and City Council agreed in 2008 to lease Chicago's parking meter business for an astonishing 75 years and in return received $1.15 billion from Chicago Parking Meters LLC, (CPM) a business that was funded by Wall Street investment house Morgan Stanley, Alliance Capital Partners and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Chicago's parking meters raked in $138.7 million in 2019. All told, between 2008 and 2019, private investors have earned $1.6 billion. That’s nearly $500 million more than their initial, $1.16 billion investment — with 64 years worth of parking meter revenues to go, with Chicago residents paying dramatically higher fees to private investors for the privilege of parking on Chicago's streets. What do you think will happen when water and sewer systems and roads and bridges — and other needed public services– are privatized? Consumers will pay dramatically higher fees while the investors will rake in billions, if not trillions, of huge profits.

    more and more people in many scientific areas are starting to tell the truth. the sun controls the planets orbiting it. co2 has been much, much higher in earths past.

    the changes happening on the planet, have happened before and what is coming has happened before. the magnetic poles are moving, this is a natural cycle and the governments of the world know this. they want to drain people of more money and change our lives.

    its only about controlling the masses. they know without fossil fuels, most of the things humans use to live won't be available (look at everything derived from them). wait until you all have to pay 'carbon taxes' while lifer politicians get to fly everywhere in their private jets.. while they make your kids go to school on zoom. why can't the politicians use zoom if they're so concerned with co2 emissions? why do they want us eating lab stuff and bugs, while they get real food including meat?

    China’s annual CO2 emissions exceed those of all developed countries combined. China accounts for 27% of human-generated CO2 emissions or nearly 2.5 times the United States 11%. And while the US has reduced CO2 by 10% (primarily due to fracking which is cleaner) and the EU by 16% in the last 20 years, China is adding new coal-fueled power plants almost weekly and has increased 208%. So why do the Alarmists only focus on the West when any Western reductions will be FAR EXCEEDED by China (and the developing world)?

  39. 47Billion dollar infrastructure bill and the climate change money included in that. Now you know local economies will never see any of this money. Also what about the 1.6Trillion dollars Biden gave to the Paris Accords for the rest of the world to use. Climate change is nothing more than a money making opportunity for everyone involved
