2. I think this is unfair because there's literally a killer virus everywhere, even in the school, the parents should keep their kids home doing online school instead of the kids going out to school just to survive.

18. All the governor did was make mask wearing optional. You can wear one, but the Gov will not force you to.

Im going to 8th grade my brother had covid I sleep in the same room with him cause he has autism he's 11 and I'm 12 were both scared of the dark and odd in an apartment with our mom so when he had covid I was scared to sleep in the same room with him so I slept in the living room 😅 but I'm sure even though he has autism he knew he had covid and I'm sure he was sad about it honestly I dont want covid and I don't wanna take my mask off at school my school is allowing masks off for recess I don't think people should but I guess cause your outside I just feel like people think covid went down so they can act like it's okay to act normal again which it's true covid went down but it's not gone and people are still dying from it

24. Pretty much where I live we go to regular school without masks, which makes things even worse. I’m sure that we don’t have enough money to purchase computers and get unlimited internet tho.

25. I believe only kids who are vaccinated should be able to attend school and the ones who haven’t been vaccinated should stay virtually. Because it’s dumb to bring unvaccinated kids to school. And of course even if your vaccinated you should wear a mask to protect both you and your family. Unfortunately I lost my grandfather to COVID and it hurts seeing someone you cared for die so quickly.

26. My school sucks for forcing us to go back in classrooms and no virtual learning

27. It was the first day for my son who attended elementary. And I mean attended because for what I saw today. I am not sending him back to that chaos. Many parent weren’t wearing mask, or keeping social distancing. And it took 45 minutes to get him in school and another 45 minutes to get him out. I have two more in others school and we have schedules to keep. So no this is was a stressful day. After keeping them safe at home. I don’t find it worthwhile so send him back to school. I am going to look more into home schooling instead.

29. These schools better not even think about sending kids back to virtual learning. We spent almost a whole year in that mess and kids were waiting patiently for the school year to end, so hopefully this year they could finally go back to school and learn in person regularly as they are supposed to, and now, these Republicans are trying to make it about what the kids want to do and what is more convenient for them when really we need to focus on safety here. What kid wants to wear a mask while running on the playground? It's obvious that they don't want to, but sometimes we have to do things we don't want to, and things we have to. Kids will be fine if they wear their masks properly, if your child is not able to wear their mask properly for the entire School day, keep their hands off their face and out of their mouth, and social distance when needed, then they need to be homeschooled. Or if you decided to homeschool from the beginning, you don't have to worry about any of this. But do not, do not make all the kids go back to online learning because kids are getting sick because they can't wear their mask correctly. Wear your mask properly and everything will be okay. I'm so sick of this "free The children" or "let them breath" garbage. We all have to wear masks and we all have to get vaccinated as soon as possible, PERIOD.
