Most children are attached to adults in some way or another, there's no way to help a child without that help also benefitting an adult. Oh well, isn't a child worth it. My sister was/is dedicated to her kids at school and teaching them on many levels, but when Covid came she went into a deep depression because she was not there to support these rural children anymore and she knew which ones would struggle the most. She teaches social etiquette to those silly little farm fifth grade boys. Well it took me until recently to understand that neglect is a form of abuse. This is such a complicated and deep issue.
