  1. So uh, blah, blah, blah…..are we allowed to know any details or is this some nonsense being pushed AGAIN. “Sexual Assault”. Ok, so, some video guy, a video guy, what, grabs, no, rapes a HOCKEY PLAYER, a PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY PLAYER and the young, strong Hockey player says or does what? I mean, I certainly don’t buy the “if I made too much noise, my career was in jeopardy” No. for whatever reason, the guy never played for the Black Hawks. TRUST ME, most of the guys in the NHL are saying to themselves, huh, let some video guy hint to me that he’s got “issues” and then he’s gonna have MORE issues. Why did this Beach guy go in another direction? And nobody is saying what the “assault” was. smh, just stop.

  2. In a perfect world:

    1) Quinneville and everyone else involved would be permanently banned from the NHL and it's affiliates. None aren't.

    2) Gary Bettman should be immediately permanently scorned, removed in a unanimous vote by the leagues owners, black-balled and disgraced for allowing his ego and power-trip to decide on whether any of these accomplices to sexual assault should work again. His response has been "They have to meet with me first". Typical 'King' Bettman. I don't even know what to say.

    3) A $2 million fee is such a joke and so insulting that Bettman shouldn't have even have given a fine. Half of it goes to whatever charities Bettman deems worthy. The other million goes where? To the NHL?

I've been a NYR since 1979. I was at the 94' Cup win. If this had come out that the Rangers victory was marred by a scandal and assault such as this, I'd have burned every jersey I had. I'd have stopped watching. I'd have left my fandom at the door because the human is and has always been more important than a stupid championship. I am disgusted, ashamed, furious and at a crossroads. Do I continue to support a league with so little value on human life as this? The very people who sacrifices and give their body for a multi-billion dollar league? I can only hope that other past victims like Chris Nilan and Theo Fleury have reached out to him and have offered support. I'm sad for myself as a supporter of this league for over 40 years. If I had Bettman in front of me, I'd probably slap him.

  3. what bothers me is both the team and the university did not report this man to the police allowing him to do it once again where he finally was dealt with by the law…albeit weakly . He should be in jail for life

  4. Everyone always criticizes the media for anything and everything. If it wasn't for the media this story would have never moved forward and these resignations and the potential for further criminal and civil action would not have been possible.

  5. I shake my head as I hear most everyone on THAT team back then claim " they didn't know"…. BS, especially the coach saying he was unaware, IT WAS ONE OF HIS COACHES…. you tell me that a claim of sexual abuse from a player wouldn't be talked about !?!

  6. I’m just curious, how the hell does a tough hockey player get “forced” to give another man a BJ? Wouldn’t he just beat this guys ass, or say f**k off? The guy who did this looks like a little pipsqueek. I just don’t understand!

  7. As a fan, I’m devastated. As a human, I’m disgusted. It seems like the players knew, too. Unacceptable. I enjoy the NHL because it seems like there is a positive culture around the sport that’s been being pushed to the forefront more and more over the last 15 years. Now I look at them as a bunch of bullies and liars.

  8. What a bunch of pansies. If you're lucky enough to be in NHL, it's like Holy Mother Church you play along and SHUT UP. A little slap and tickle never hurt anyone. Think of The Game man!! Do it for the kids.👬

  9. As a Blackhawks fan since 1983 and a born and raised Chicagoan this makes me sick to stomach!!! Needless to say I’m done with this organization and now have found a new organization to root for!! I hope fans cancel their season tickets and no longer attend Hawks home games!!!

  10. I posted my comment below because it was aimed at Coach Q.

I sincerely want to thank Brent Sopal for coming forward.
He knew, everyone in the lock room knew’ and let’s face it when something of this magnitude is addressed everyone keeps talking about it.

Kyle I am so sorry for what happened to you. But you are now and inspiration to so many.

  11. The election was more than 6 months ago. Get over it.
I don’t care, and neither should you.
The world hasn’t ended and Biden isn’t a tyrant yet.
    Stop being so dramatic.

I’m not letting the melting pot that is politics eat away at my brain.
I move on with my life because unlike many of you, I don’t let politics run my life.

  12. A coach however well liked or admired, does not turn his back on a player. What was your saying, oh yes “Peanut Butter”, well who is in a sticky situation now.

For those involved with this horrific incident with Kyle Beach, it should not be termination, it should be incarceration!

  13. I mean, am I wrong, or does the other person from michigan also have valid lawsuit to file against the blackhawks for the cover-up because their inaction (and the LoR they gave him when he "resigned") allowed him to then get the job that led to that other persons sexual assault.
