  1. I would personally thank the governor for making my job more hazardous than it is. This is an injustice he deserves a longer sentence for his bad decisions. He made all the decisions that caused that caused those deaths. He was untrained and made very bad choices. Now everyone who does what ever they like behind the steering wheel will do it because there are no consequences for their actions. I have been driving a transport for 27 years and have never harmed anyone. There is no reason to cause a death drive defensively. I am disappointed that the governor sentenced him to so little time. Disgusting! The company owner should be sitting in jail with him for the 110 years.

  2. Is Truck Driver Aguilar-Mederos being condemned to a time in prison, no matter how much time, as a sacrifice for the mourning families? Or should he be set free for his innocents by truth and justice which out weighs in evidence which shows that it wasn’t his fault?

I believe Mederos, is not the culprit. No matter how you want to make it pleasing to the mourning families, the mourning families need to see the past evidence of the many violations the said trucking company had, along with the many complaints prior to Aguilar-Mederos’ incident. Sure, families want blood these days, but they have to be given the facts, the cold hard facts. They could be putting an innocent man under an innocent mans poor personal treatment by an unjustly operated American judicial system.

Can’t you see, even fire from heaven is coming down on the surrounding town to defend his innocence?

I HAD A SIMILAR SITUATION LIKE THE RUN-AWAY TRUCK, MY CAR RAN OUT OF CONTROL, AT HIGH SPEED ON THE HIGHWAY – I owned an old car, from a very dependable and reputable car company. It ran out of control on I-75 Sarasota Florida back in the mid-2000, and for a matter of a few minutes I couldn't stop it, the car even accelerated on its own, as if possessed. After trying everything I could to save my life the car regained its normal mechanical composure and came under my control again. — I took it to a local corner town mechanic, and just by my description of what happened he found that it wasn't the breaks after checking the break system, even though they didn't work at the time of the high speed incident. The fault was in the air breathing / airflow components, he said, in an accessible top part of the engine. The mechanic showed me a visible flap on the engine when he removed a rubber pipe which is also connected to the removable air filter casing. The mechanic said, “Here’s the problem” — He gets an air hose, connects an air sprayer-nozzle to it and blows black carbon dust build up from everything clogged by it. Then the mechanic sprays fuel injector cleaner in and around the opening of the engine cleaning the valve until it was silver again. Then spray cleans the common air-filter with pressured air. “It should be good now.” he says. He took the car for a ride, probably to blow out extra build up and to see how it ran. The mechanic said that this happens to old cars and neglected engines. It ran well and smooth as always after that.

This innocent incident happened to me, do you believe me?

Or do you want to arrest me posthumously for speeding erratically though I-75 for a past speeding incident? – 01/02/2022 – John R Borges III of Bradenton Florida.

    Take me as you wish.

  3. It certainly figures. The other truck drivers put pressure on and this criminal got a reduced sentence. Truck drivers cause the most accidents on the highways. There should be more severe penalties for these losers

  4. Hey guys lets compare this to Guislaine Maxwell getting up to 40 years in prison for helping some guy rape hundreds of children.
One is premeditated and the other was an accident. 110/10 years vs 40 years. Interesting. Also i wonder how many years will darryl brooks get after he ran his car through a crowded christmas parade

  5. All you dumb people that signed the petition can go to hell! He killed 4 people! Is it OK if someone killed your loved ones cause it was an accident but yet it could've been prevented. This country sucks more and more each year. Wait till it happened to one of your loved ones and see how you feel about it.

  6. What a f$&@$ slap in the face.. Middle finger too.. 10 years won't make a difference, He's gonna rot in jail anyway.. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

  7. Either way I'm satisfied. 4 people are dead due to his negligence. Now he's going to have a 10 year prison sentence on his record, he's going to lose more than 10% of his probable lifespan, and his ability to drive a truck or have much of any other decent paying job is gone. I'd say he's going to suffer more than if he had gotten 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his life.

  8. Y’all are CRAZY. First everyone was crying about his sentence being unfair and now you are all saying that 10 years is a slap in the face to the victims . Accidents happen and it was already proven to be an accident. The breaks failed. I bet most of you would start screaming and crying if your breaks failed and you couldn’t control your car/ truck. I’ve been in a horrible accident (A passenger) and let me just say it is absolutely horrifying. Murderers with malicious intent and rapists get less of a sentence than 110 years. 10 years is still a lot. Rip to the victims obviously, but where are people’s sense of empathy ? It was clearly an accident and he will carry the burden of those 4 victims for the rest of his life.

  9. Kill several people due to recklessness and carelessness, serve 10 years , how many families has he destroyed, justice is bypassed in this case.

  10. Sad he still needed some time to think about his actions he missed the ramp but he do have remorse hopefully he gets in a good prison and let out easily etc

  11. 10÷4= 2.5 years 😕
It was the truck, it was the mechanic, it was the driver, it was the conditions, it was the road…. 😒
Little comfort for the families who lost loved ones 🙏🏾

  12. All he need to do is stay strong now💯 I bet if he doesn’t have any priors and doesn’t get into any trouble on the inside he’ll be out earlier on parole. I bet he’ll be sleeping a lot sounder tonight knowingly that he won’t be spending his entire life there. I could’ve seen 110 year in prison if he was drunk at the time so I’m glad he got justice🔥

  13. Anyone saying he doesn’t deserve any time at all is ignorant af. We as the Hispanic community shouldn’t be fighting for this just because he’s Latino. Take the feelings out of this and the race and look at this case for what it is, people were killed and this could have been completely avoided.

  14. Rogel Aguilera-Mederos is dangerous and has some of the WORST judgement ever – and he is SELFISH. btw, there is a lot more information available than what is in the article linked below. but too many people don't want to get off of YouTube and DO the research to find out more of the details. it's a strain for the, to read even more than a paragraph, let alone multiple, full written articles, preferably by REPUTABLE sources:

"In an interview with police and through a translator, Aguilera-Mederos said he lost control of the vehicle after noticing his brakes were failing, but that he had only been traveling at 45 mph at the time. The downhill grade increased his speed as he entered Lakewood, he said. He didn’t want to drive off the road for fear of rolling the semi, so he tried to maneuver to the right shoulder and avoid the stopped traffic on I-70, according to the affidavit. But he saw the shoulder was blocked by another semi, so he swerved left — back into lanes of slow stop-and-go traffic from a previous crash at I-70 and Ward Road — and closed his eyes, according to the affidavit. The crash, which occurred around 4:50 p.m., caused a massive blaze in the eastbound lanes near Colorado Mills Parkway."

as I replied to someone else:

he deliberately bypassed more than one runaway truck ramp, well before he got to where the cars were backed up. and there is ample evidence he was driving recklessly far before that. and reportedly, he checked the breaks (I haven't found proof of that yet) and decided it was safe to drive. but that doesn't add up because of what happened. and other of his violations were caught on video long BEFORE he lost control of the truck.

even after all this time far too many people have not done their due diligence and READ about the available evidence. instead they've relied on YouTube videos & headlines before deciding this killer got a bad deal. because he made some VERY wrong decisions, period WHEN he was still in control – and too many fatally bad ones AFTER he LOST control. he's a danger to society, pure & simple and OBVIOUSLY.

110 years is up for debate with some people, I get that. including SOME (not all of them, so don't get it mixed up) of the family members who he killed. but he took FOUR lives and injured many more people than that and a lot of them PERMANENTLY. so, NO, 10 years is NOT enough time, not even close..his hurt feelings about what he did are not enough, he should be serving more time. I mean, wtfrak??!!

  15. Smh 10 years for killing 4 people and many others injured and everyone saying “oh he’s so precious and it was an accident” let’s see that same reaction if it happens to your family.

  16. This country of ours is a joke this guy gets 10 years for killing 4 innocent people but my little brother gets 75 years for having an ounce of weed the American justice system is a joke the American justice system needs to be fixed because it's obviously broken.
