  1. For those of you who were sad to see this power plant demolished, you evidently didn’t have the negligence kill your loved one, the father of your children, a coworker, friend being killed by the negligence of AEP. I rejoice and celebrate it being destroyed. At least they won’t kill another one’s loved Indian there. So hope that helps your “sadness@.

  2. The taller of the three stacks was built about 50 years ago. A friend of mine's father ran the construction of that stack. Although it doesn't seem that long ago, that's still over half of a century. When it was around 450 feet or so, I got to see it from the inside. At 450 feet, it still had another 450 to go. I could not imagine working on that!!

  3. I live in conesville and it affected a lot of us. No one around me cheered or laughed about this. Was a huge loss for the school district and especially the jobs it created. If only people new how depleted the power grid is without this plant and the others that have been shut down recently.

  4. "Light her up" ??
    These idiots.
Its supposed to collapse straight down. I hope these dangerous failures are instantly fired

  5. Ohio- land of science illiterates and climate/vaccine denialists- conflating science fact with conspiracy theories and insufferable trumpian sociopathic rantings- YOU ARE THE EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENTS….🦖☄
