Why not send US MILITARY in there? We've had helped other countries ,ie (Iraq,Afghanistan and Syria etc) and we don't send troops to our own country/people that really needs help? I remember we were in Fort Hood, Texas, and we're all just doing nothing ,but watch California wildfires , watch people lost their homes, livelihood,and we have all the equipments ,the trained personnels ,you name it, we have it,but what is the reason for not doing it? Pls answer my friend.Is America a self-destruct thingy or suicidal as a nation? America has PTSD? What's the reason ,you cannot help your own self? Your own people! GTFO of Cali.

Wishing all those folk in the US good luck! I live in British Columbia above Idaho and as of writing we have 259 fires with just 86 under control and 83 out of control. So far we have lost 413,945 hectares (1.02 million acres) to wildfires and the season has barely started. Our air quality rating has been off the scale at 10+ on a 10 scale for many days now and temps are supposed to return to the mid 40's C later this week. It is very bad!

I have to seriously question why a state who's has the world's 5th largest economy can not manage and contain these fires. Their economy is probably today many times what the US had in WWII and look at the massive effort the US put forth from 1940 to 1945. This inability to achieve success makes me seriously wonder if California politicians are not intentionally letting these fires rage to promote a political agenda? There is nothing like a visible crisis to change peoples attitudes. We certainly saw that put into practice during the COVID-19 pandemic.
