Wow, her words are unreal and I believe her. Does anyone know what caused the fire??? That's the scary thing about living in a building with a bunch of other people. One person who forgets to turn the stove on or a drunk comes home to cook and falls asleep causing a fire.

Unfortunately, it's usually a sad finish, when it comes to fires, in these older, 'high rise's'. And unfortunately again, if they're not up to 'code'. I liked the sincere tone, in her voice. We'll see if the state holds through, with it's pledge. Not to bring politics into relevance, but being NY, a obvious 'Blue State', offers like hers should actually be the 'pro quo', in how government handles, social emergencies (here, providing for those who aren't capable, possibly). Could you imagine, a governor in a 'Red State', committing to the same, generous honor? All the while, with the same apathetic, stance😏??

By reversing the mandates and reopening the 26 fire departments they shut down? That sounds like a good start.

I know for sure crackheads must pull the alarm all the time so no one even cares when it goes off. The deaths are partially on them.I live in a ghetto ass building like that here in Toronto and same issue. I even was trapped in a fire once cus of those fucking crackheads. They also started that fire. Some guy left a couch in the hall way and some crackhead lit it on fire. Also the guy that lives in the house it started at should have closed the door to his apartment when he fled the fire. Everyone would have survived. Sad stuff.

Someone had to bring for justice that are who is the the corruption that of a failure of expansion a failure of alarm system and the failure that are for many of well officers and employer as well but I really wanted to see some sentences for justice and every families and loved ones and mothers and fathers daughters and sisters cousins and uncles and nephews they deserve a Justice is the way it is but I'm very sorry for those 19 people lost their live any Clooney that they try to get out to escape the fire that there was in the stairs but I got to say this everyone it is time.
