  3. ‼️Nah, those Navient predators SHOULD CANCEL THE LOAN DEBT OF EVERY STUDENT, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ACTUALLY BUSTED THEIR ASS TO PAY IT OFF, AND THOSE STILL PAYING IT OFF, NOT JUST THOSE WHO DEFAULTED‼️‼️

  6. Good!! These people are PREDATORY lenders!!! Everyone can’t be having similar experiences and lying?? I’ve stopped paying at this point and just plan to settle. I’ve had to put off moving out, getting married, having babies for years and I’ve come to the conclusion, it’s just a losing battle. I’ve paid one off in full. The entire balance ballooned by $30-$40K and these people always claim they’re not doing anything illegal. It’s a setup to keep people trapped in a never ending cycle.

  8. I went to a "for profit school" around 2004-10 and still have over $170,000 in student loans debt. To keep the calls at bay I can only afford to make interest payments. Sallie Mae/ Navient said didn't qualify for consolidation or dismissal of my loans even after the school closed due to defraudment of the government. I received a bogus diploma that I can't use because the "for profit school" wasn't accredited. To add insult to injury now I can't even get dismissal of my loans because I make payments. That's bullshit!

  10. Seriously. To say Sallie mae/ navient made my life a nightmare is an understatement. They ruined my credit , called my mom 5/6 times a day, while also calling me so many times too. And I was in school at the same time. I paid triple what I borrowed from them. It was a total night mare . I paid them off tho.happy for my sister if this goes through. She still owes them a lot of money.

  12. Want another predatory thing? Great Lakes borrowers. Three years straight said they didn’t process my documents on time (turned in months early) for the IBR plans. Said they could defer it for a month so I “didn’t get a huge bill” one month. Well, they try to skip over that deferment will reconsolidate your interest into principal. I believe this is done on purpose for $$. I would tell them that’s unacceptable, then be transferred to someone who “fixed” the issue over the phone. Wondering if this ever happened to someone else?

New Rule: From now on, no college in America is allowed to charge any student over $260 total for everything associated with the student's time in college, and students are allowed, from now on, to be delinquent in any way they wish, once they apply to any college they wish. All colleges must accept all applications, and in situations where distance learning is possible, students are not required to show up in person. Students may put all room and board costs on their college accounts, and the colleges can take out expensive loans and grants in their own names to pay off all their expenses! 😂. What about the parents of students who kept having to defer and accrue interest, both when working and unemployed… What about the parents who had had enough of watching this and used up their savings to bail them out, for fear that this day would never come??? Will those parents get any relief?! Also, what about the students who struggled, barely paid everything off, and were still living in fear and at a low quality of life the whole time?! I'm glad Navient has to forgive current student loans, but there are a ton of other students and their parents who got screwed while the student loans were being serviced by Navient. Will Navient help them too?

  17. SO AGAIN. People who paid their loans or are making on time payments are not getting anything? They've been ripping me off for 20 yrs. I cant get it paid off. But if you defaulted, you're getting the debt wiped off. Is that what is happening?

You are literally a federal lender, yet you refuse to allow me to sign up for PSLF during the pandemic since any payment that I make would go directly toward the principal. I also have friends who earn the exact same amount as myself, live in the same city, have the same number of dependents, the same marital status, and share the same job title as myself who are somehow allowed to pay only a fraction of what I am expected to pay back each much. Hmmm, I wonder why that is?

  22. This explains why all of a sudden Navient transferred the handling of my student loan to a new company. I wonder how many people they screwed over by doing this. If someone else has taken over my loan prior to the settling, then they don't have to include me in this. Son of …!

  24. I was, what I felt, a victim of Navient (Sallie Mae). I consolidated my student loans through them and was told that, with the type of consolidation loan I had gotten and as a public servant, my loans would be forgiven after 10 years of repayment. Ten years later, with NO delinquent payments might I add, I was told by Navient that I had the wrong consolidation loan. Furious did not begin to describe how I felt! It was their job, 1st not to assist me in getting the wrong loan and 2nd to guide me towards getting the correct loan and not to tell me lies at in the beginning of my consolidation like I was on track for forgiveness 10 years later. And the sad part is, everyone I spoke to that had consolidated with Sallie Mae/Navient, said their experience was similar to mine.

Wow I'm happy cries for my neighbors I was in a predatory leader situation being signed up for more expensive course that also had lies in it as well asked to switch bur was told no should have written the ptib but that had a Time limit of 1 year so I was screwed here in Canada . I wanted 2 b a nail tech 5000$ but they put me in a esthetic 16,000$ course instead. I felt very loss everyday going to class. Was just a big mess . Small fish in big sea. Congratulations to you guys . Now the doors at such older age can finally open for some of these people now. 🙌

  26. Student loans the only loans you can get with no or bad credit. Loans that can never be discharged in bankruptcy unless you're in a special category.

  28. The whole system is a joke. Those who paid on time will not get any sorft relief unless you failed to make payments. And to shut you up the relief is $250 dollars jajajajaka what a joke. These politicians should all be in jailed….

  33. After 14 years in a public service job and way more than 10 years of payments, I applied and was denied for the PSLF program.
    🖕 to your programs! I buckled down and paid it off myself.

  35. My nursing school’s student loans were off the roof. I tried a traditional community college where RN program was 10k but was on a waiting list forever. Sallie Mae”s cost for the program was 36k plus interest which I ended owing 41k. I’m halfway paid up so it will be a relief to have the rest paid up.

They've literally taken my payment over the phone and tell me months later that I didn't pay or send them money orders multiple times and tell me they've never received it so when I check with my bank they'll tell me it's been cashed then later I'll check my account and magically it's current navient just needs to be tore down as a whole

  42. People aren't LISTENING. It's not that they defaulted, its the WAY the company 1st preyed on subprime candidates and 2nd how they handled what payments they could make.
    READ THE FUCKING FILES before you make some ignorant, stupid fucking comment about why you don't think people deserve this.
