  1. I think there should be a petition signed to get Carolyn Bryant in jail for lying which led to his death. I think she is still alive too

  2. See why I think karma is a myth? That beelzebub of a woman and her relatives went on to live long and full lives. Where is their karma. Are their offspring dropping like flies? No, they're not. I know that woman didn't confess at the end out of the "goodness of her heart" or any remorseful guilt. Ppl who believe in heaven will reveal things at the end in the hope that their deity will have mercy on them and grant them eternal life after death. Same as ppl who only do good because of the promise of heaven. Essentially, you aren't a willful good person, you're just doing because you expect something out of it. You're playing quid pro quo with your deity.

  3. I’m a Grown ass Man and every time I see or hear this Story I cry like a Baby , Continue to be at Peace Sir Emmett🙇🏾🙏🏾

  4. Seeing the Bryant family pictures on facebook made me annoyed. They robbed Emmett of a chance at that & they flaunt their happiness & family online. The cruelty of life’s unfairness sometimes is heartbreaking.

  5. This was definitely uncalled for it’s just so sad to watch how this young man was woke up in the middle of the the night and taken from his uncle’s home to be killed over something that makes no sense he left his mother to visit family and she never saw him alive again
What a painful thing for his mother to go through this act of violence towards her son
Changed her life completely it’s so sad to see the pain in her face as she cried for her son

  6. Unspeakable evil.

It has been said that the only thing that evil needs to flourish and triumph is for good men and women to do nothing.

And, now, in his first act after his inaugural on Saturday, Governor Youngkin of Virginia has signed an order to ensure the children of our Commonwealth cannot be taught the truths of Our Nation's history — damning folks to wallow in the darkness of ignorance, and therefore be less able to think critically and less able to recognize evil in their midst, because teaching the truths of US history might offend or cause discomfort to white kids.

Congratulations, Governor Youngkin, count yourself among the evil ones in our midst doing the bidding of Satan, The Father of Lies himself. Cowards like you make it easy for evil to not only spread, but to thrive and triumph.

  7. Such a tragic story this is so heart breaking to watch an such an important part of history This is why change is needed Rest in Paradise Emmett my heart n soul breaks n cries for you

  8. Mamie Till and Mose Wright deserve so much recognition! Mamie Till did what a lot of black mothers wouldn’t have done back in 1955. Alot of blacks were scared of white people at that time, so for her to fight for her son while knowing the possible consequences….man I applaud her! And Moses Wright probably lived in Mississippi his whole life so he knew it wasn’t safe for a black man to testify against white men. But he still got on that stand for Emmett! He wanted justice and he was willing to risk his life! I’m so proud of both of them for trying! It probably didn’t make a difference in 1955 but 67 years later…..Emmett’s story is still being told 👏🏾 I wish Mamie and Moses could see the difference their bravery has made. And as for Roy and JW….well they better be glad they’re dead!!!!

  9. Thank you to all who went against the so called contract to show the world. It’s sad that much has changed. It still happens. I’m Hispanic and I love all. We are all one no separation. It’s either black or white and the rest get lost in the middle. We kind of get left alone so it’s hard to relate. Please be equality for all 🙏

  10. There really are no words for this type of savagery, white supremacists are the real terrorists. The power within Mamie Till, to deal with all that she did, she was true magic.

  11. I'm the mother to a young black man and I don't know that I could have had the courage and strength that Emmett Tills mother had, but Thank God she had it because she changed many lives with her bravery!! R.I.P….Emmett 💞

  12. I am crying as I type this comment. As a young black woman seeing time and time again what my people endured is heart shattering. No justice here on earth will amount to what they put that family through and Mamie Till. No justice here on earth will amount to what African Americans endured for decades. Hate barley describes what I feel.

  13. Mind you some of those "good ol God fearing Southern gentleman" were WWII veterans. I can't reconcile that. But racism wears many masks. May Mrs. Till and her beautiful son reunite in heaven.

  14. I learned of Emmitt Till about 3 years ago. It is just so sad that this young man was viciously tortured and murdered over a lie. Then the men who were guilty getting off scott free is almost as horrendous as the crime it self. As for his mother? Such a brave woman!

  15. And just to think, the disgusting B#$&_ that lied is still breathing today after her lie that caused this. . . Hope this pops up on her social media page every time she tries to not think of it.

  16. Was the Hate moron ever brought to Justice,?
America you have Rivers Full of Blood Running Down.
White Supremacist need to be sent to the Jail when you Sent the terrorists and tourched them ..
So Sickness off these cowards who did to a Child..
    FBI.?.
You can Still Bring these cowards to justice Infront of the family and public.
Even in old age and keep the Death chambers alive to meet up with the Lord.
    🙏🏾.
This is Pure white Hatered from the old days..
    How the Child felt like??.

  17. This is one of the saddest stories I have ever heard of. His death is a stain on bigots. My condolences to his family. Only monsters do such hideous crimes.

  18. What an absolute tragedy. This has rocked me to my core as a mother of a child who is mix race and my heart hurts deeply for Mamie and her family. I can’t remember the last time I’ve wept so deeply, nor have I ever been so angry for what was done to this young man. It should have never happened. We must never forget if we are ever going to change and stop the hatred that has been forced upon POC.

  19. I am so glad that Emmet Till had such a strong mother. I have been torn about this story since I read about it back in middle school. (1988) I am soooooo glad that she was adamant at being determined to "Let the World See!" The entire world needed to see it all and to become educated as well as to be empowered to never just stand by and allow our precious children to be destroyed by senseless racism or any other type of injustice!! Never be afraid to speak up, speak out and fight for your children and loved ones!! Her story will be one that I will not ever forget and will always cherish because it is just purely disgusting; actually that is an understatement! Words cannot describe how cruel and vicious that beautiful child was forced to go through!! It was just pure evil!! It took the courage, strong will and determination of this beautiful mother to be willing to continue the fight as well as to expose the truth at any and all cost for her son's justice!!

  20. People failed to realize that this is not too Far away. If we could just forget about yt ppl and come together we would have an empire. But we are too lost

  21. I heard his story before and knew it was the beginning of the whole Civil rights movement. But I had never seen the pictures and it was shocking to see the trauma from all that hate that this handsome young man and his mother went through is still effecting me in 2022! Those images will haunt me. I just broke down in tears and just couldn't stop! I still have tears running down my face as I write this! How could we the people of this country still be battling racism 67 years later! How is racism still alive in 2022!?? We all need to do our part to do better!
