I just canceled my membership and I'm done with paying Amazon for their overpriced, cheap Chinese knockoff garbage and reconditioned/discontinued junk. 2 day prime has turned into 2 week delivery, and the quality of the junk they sell on Amazon isn't worth the cost. I'll go back to shopping locally where I can see, touch and smell what I buy before I put my hard earned money down. Bezo can figure out a different way to fund for his hobbies.

19. So Amazon is raising it's Prime membership from $119 to $139 a year. I can understand this since business has been bad for them. WAIT A MINUTE, Amazon’s fourth-quarter earnings report showed a quarterly profit of $14.3 billion so they aren't doing poorly at all!!!! Jacking customers and companies overpaying employees are the reasons we have inflation. Next I'll hear is that Starbucks will be raising their product prices.

How about the corruption money they give to politicians to stop fair pay for workers and closing tax loopholes? Or how about some of that money used to shoot Bezos into space while he paid off news companies to spin it in a positive light? Nah, the best thing to do is to raise the price of Amazon Prime now that they have formed a monopoly in online retail. That's the answer.

29. Every damn year it seems to increase but yet Bezos made more money during the pandemic. Us folks on a major limited income can not afford these increases. Smfh the cost should be a sliding scale so it is affordable. Not to mention loyalty rewards, some of us have belonged to prime since it began.

31. You can send Bezos a message, go t your account page and click "Notify 3 days before renewal", then quit when you get notified. If you quit now, you lose your account immediately, how Amazon that is.
