Looks like it came in too fast. He bounced several times with all that extra lift and ground effect and kept trying to force it back down and pitching up…you can tell by the last bit when the nose pitched up and he didn’t even stall….too much speed.
If that tail got hit on the runway, then this plane will get ripped apart in hours. They have to replace the damage.

This is me landing on infinite flight simulator but jokes aside hope no one got injured
same incident but different cause happened in Indonesia at exact 4 years ago, but it was because the baggage service crews didn't follow safety procedure for weight balance at loading baggages, which result the plane's bottom hit first and almost dragged during plane's landing, gladly no serious injuries to both passangers and plane except its bottom got scratch from runway's pavement, and the culprits got fired immediately for their hastiness, this is why safety regulations can't be denies no matter the conditions.
Surprised they don't use electromagnetism, on landing straps and on the planes.
So when it lands, it stays down amongst the elements. The only weakness being fire.
But can be overcome with a heating & cooling system so the runways stay clearer.
Easier to land on, same thing for military ships that launch fighter jets. They use cords to catch the planes, idk why not electromagnetism.

The Airbus A321 has a long tail, so it often has tailstrikes. Nothing too special here.

Looking at the right side of the wing property. There are 2 types of flaps. 3 small, 2 big flaps. Which is working with hydraulics. See how it opens and closes. These flaps are for flights lift and drop.

Holy crap! Imagine sitting in 36D or whatever one of those back seats are. The crazy. movement, the loud tailstrike, the sudden violent turn and thinking that’s it we are going to crash and burn AND a go-around to try again… What a magical experience! Is there any video from inside the cabin?

Metal hitting tarmac at 200mph is noisy. I once had my car door mirror knocked through the side window at 50mph, and it sounded like an atomic bomb.
I’m glad the plane didn’t bust a tire or start a fire. I know those passengers were going through it especially when it started going left.
