  1. I'm amazed that two points weren't mentioned about this specimen (which wasn't even shown in this particular video, although shown on others):

    1) It is a male specimen, and males are normally produced relatively late in the season. Therefore, this specimen probably lived before 2021.

    2) This specimen indeed has a different color pattern from the others–it is of the color form (or variety or subspecies, depending upon which literature one consults) "magnifica" which is found across the northern parts of several southeastern Asian and South Asian countries such as Viet Nam, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal and India. Therefore, it represents a different introduction from the other specimens, including the colony collected last year.

  2. I always have a few hornets flying around my yard every summer bit they totally ignore us & we them. These things though ?? I would lose my grip at the mere sight of one. 😂😂😂

  3. It was a dead hornet from last year lol this video popped up right after I watched someone who actually does thier research lol at least InsideEdition is able to do thier job lol

  4. Not aggressive towards people? Lmao they're the number one wild life killer of people in Japan over 100 any given year. Ever see results of getting stung. Lol eats skin flesh venom

  5. That was worthless "journalism." Where did they come from? What is the expected growth/spread? Did the thing that used to keep them in check change its eating habits or are there less of what used to prey on them? Why are they here now? What exists or is being worked on to combat them? What can we do to protect the honeybees from them?
