Ukraine crisis explained:
Ukraine is now a puppet of the United States, after the CIA-orchestrated Maidan Coup of 2014 (remember Victoria Nuland?).
The region was largely AT PEACE… UNTIL the United States, pushed by the powerful MIC (Military Industrial Complex, more powerful than POTUS, the President of the United States) decided (December 22, 2017, State Dept.) to provide heavy, advanced weapons to Ukraine, which felt emboldened enough (along with false "promises" of NATO support) to IGNORE its commitments and its signature (as the US. Is now used to do) in the 2014 Minsk Protocols (Sept. 5), signed by the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) + Russia + Ukraine (under the mediation of France and Germany, within the so-called Normandy Format) that brought PEACE to the region and try to subdue by military force the self-declared independent Donbass, an "independence" not recognized by anyone, not even by Russia, which supports them but at the same time demands them to abide by the Minsk Protocols, as Russia itself does.
Therefore, the crisis is NOT between Russia and Ukraine. It is between Russia and the USA (and their puppets NATO and the European Union, which is not an exaggeration or intended insult, but Political Reality or Realpolitik).
So the SOLUTION, PEACE in the region, is strictly in US hands and can be immediate if POTUS orders it…only he can't. He is not allowed to by the MIC lobby, as happened in Afghanistan, Vietnam.
The US NEEDS confrontation.
Or, more accurately, it needs it continuously pushed by the super-powerful MIC Lobby, desperate to sell their expensive weapons to maintain +10 million jobs, +4 million contractors and fabulous profits that "naturally", according to their evil vision they CANNOT stop making, whoever falls and whoever suffers, which explains all these "crises" or frequent wars in the world initiated or incited by the United States, wherever, under any pretext, invented if necessary, as was demonstrated by the famous WMD (weapons of mass destruction) in Iraq, which did NOT exist.
Russia is now firmly and resolutely ready, whatever it takes.
It has had enough, begging for Security proposals for ALL European countries, which have been contemptuously ignored and moreover, with quite a good MEMORY of the brutal aggressions of the Western Europeans (Napoleon, Hitler) which cost them terrible suffering, millions of lives lost each time and a hard recovery, plus long term psychological and sociological traumas. They finally won, and this time they are even better prepared militarily.
So it would be very wise not to test their resolve.

Now we have weak men (simply translate that to NATO) who did nothing but look how people kill each other last 50 years. We have weak men pretending to be strong (Translate that to Russia and Putin) who have been in nearly 60 armed conflicts since WW2 playing top dog over weaker armies. This is all based on fear for each other and political gain. After WW2 strong men said "never again". In short: the world has never ended it again. We were lucky to skip a few turns and now it's maybe our turn to get rid of these weak men who create hard times, so strong men can create good times again. Maybe finally this becomes the war that ends all wars so the survivors can fight with sticks and stones again. And so the cycle of stupidity starts again.
Between Ukraine and Russia, they were unable to be heard? Is no one listening to what they are saying? Even if, they were listened to, it seems like they don't feel they have been listened to. What can others do to make them feel heard? How can others listen in a way that Ukraine and Russia are listened to and feel like they are being listened to?

It’s quite simple nato should just say Ukraine would never be a nato country… withdraw troops… Russia cannot afford to have Ukraine fall to nato. It would be like Canada and Mexico having Russian and Chinese military forces equipment at the border lines of USA… basically Russia has been pushed into a corner and will have to win a world war with be on the positive side. But you are all forgetting the Chinese and how much better they have become as a world military power… I guess china will capitalize on russias move to take Taiwan to create the USA to fight potentially 2 fronts. Most talk about war with Ukraine as a standard military invasion. I ponder if it would be a conventional war? Vladimir did mention he has nuclear weapons. So, with that, he can take out the US, Canada, Britain, Europe power grid with a few nukes in space. The removal of key communications satellites will stop all communication including the internet. In reality, the show of force is a ruse. The real war, if in earnest, will be unlike any war from the past. No winners. Just as Vladimir stated. Oh, no lives lost, just no modern lifestyle.

The west has grown too soft. We're right back at Chamberlain appeasement policies. We need to go full-on Churchill on Putin's ass! Putin is straight up laughing at our diplomats, he knows most of the European nations have neglected their military spending since the end of the cold war, that their military defenses are in shackles and that the only nation that could really prevent Russia from taking over Europe is the US. The thing about not being able to defend yourself, it is the military strength that empowers our diplomats to deal with an authoritarian bully like Putin. Might is right! Well obviously it's not, but might is what allows to exert power. It has been a gross mistake of Europe to think that war with post-soviet Russia was impossible or even unlikely, particularly when it became clear quite early on in Putin's rule, that he routinely persecutes political opponents, gets new political movements banned, gets oppositional political leaders locked up in jail, even routinely has political opponents poisoned and assassinated. And still Europe neglected military spending. That's probably about to change, we might even see the formation of a united EU military now… but Ukraine is lost if Russia decides to invade.
