  1. Let's see…Abortion declared legal in 1973…About 1.25 million babies killed each year since then…That's about (2022-1973=~50; 50*1,250,000=62,500,000) … That's about 62 million people that we have killed since then. So why exactly do we have a labor shortage???

  2. i can't get my jalopeno poppers cuz these lazy mellenials wanna use covid as an excuse to slack off from work. we should starve them so that they have to get more jobs so that way i can get my poppers 24/7.

  3. Let's be clear. We are NOT experiencing a labor shortage. We ARE experiencing a hiring shortage. Companies all over the globe are short staffing their businesses and maximizing profits by running skeleton crews and cashing in on government assistance. It's pure greed and it's destroying our societies.

  4. #SayNoToWorkAbuse
Employers want more for less. Imagine getting threatened to have your pay withheld or the employers brazenly telling you that they want you to work longer hours and weekends but don’t want to pay you. Yep, it happens all over America. And, imagine that on top of that, they want you to wear many hats, run the business, and want you to do the job of 4 people for as little as $8-11/hour while the employer uses PPP pandemic grants to fund their many vacations. Yep, that happens, too. You don’t see a penny of that pandemic grant. Imagine that you have to bring in your own work supplies (basic things like pens and paper) because the employer doesn’t provide any resources you need to do the work and you can’t even get a 5 min. break for water or meals even after working 10-18 hour days. Yep, that happens, too. On top of that, we are subjected to work alongside incompetent “coworkers” who barely do anything, barely show up to work, barely have any experience or skills but get paid more than we do because they play sob stories or outright lie and get away with it. Outrageous work abuse has been going on for decades, and we say enough is enough.

  5. Now that I don't commute 3 hours a day and work another 8 to 10 hours a day… I can cook dinner for my family, clean my own house, do my own yard work, sewing, dry cleaning, grocery shopping, wash the car, paint the porch…. actually go to Dr and Dental appts. without rescheduling up to 3 times etc My Husband still works in the trades with good health insurance … corporate America will n I t get this 20 year experienced woman back without some respect and some kind of quality of life compensation in time off and workload …. not expecting us to wear 4 hats for one salary! Money is jot everything! I would take a pay c UT to hire a girl part time to scan copy filing data entry ….

  6. ! $ $ $ P A Y M O R E $ $ $
    ! ** PROJECT ORIENTED PART TIME WORK $$$ **

GYPSY LIFE – STRUGGLING DAY TO DAY – HAND TO MOUTH EXISTENCE !

  7. How are people paying the bills without work? How could there be so many positions open everywhere in the country in all businesses large and small. Doesn't make sense. People looking for new jobs does not equate to millions of open positions. Something is not true. There are no more unemployment benefits here in Arizona and yet tons of open jobs with no applicants. And no it isn't low pay some of these jobs are good paying jobs.

  8. I have been listening to everyone who has an opinion about why there is a labor shortage and pretty much none of it is making any sense.

  9. BLAME IT ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA MADE LIFE EASIER AND AFFORDABLE BY MAKIN DUM VIDEOS OF ME LIKEING OTHER VIDEOS no more labor work thank you social media made life easier

  10. I wonder if people still complain about immigrants taking their jobs!? For a period immigration was slowed down and now what is going on, businesses cutting hours or closing down!

  11. Everyone seems to be surprized at the shortages in the labor pool, im not! I have watched a war on workers play out for decades! Corporations along with thier pals the US Congress have continually worked together to surpress labor! They call it a shortage but its really a shortage of employees to take advantage of! Although i do not think it will improve for workers in the future. In fact the need for workers will be even less. Business is quietly
preparing for this shift in the background. Just note all the self check outs popping up everywhere! The future does not look good for labor so it needs to be dealt with now! Customer service be damned!

  12. The proletarian are done with your low wages and forced abortions through poverty-stricken circumstances! Revolution now a 3rd founding of the nation!

  13. If Corporations did not sell out the workers/America by taking away all of our benefits {med/retirement/pay/hours/RIGHTS) socialism would not be at our doorstep and the system would be thrive again but with integrity this time.

  14. As investors demand more dividends,
the ability to distribute wealth among
all the population, is becoming more
difficult to accomplish, as we face
    the threat of Global Warming.
    Capitalism seems to have reached
a point where the limits of the system,
is incapable of awarding enough to satisfy
    all the citizens.
We may need to inspect the validity
    of Capitalism itself?

  15. Paying people like 15 dollars in California .. while rent is 1300 -3000 plus a month.. and yet you wonder why businesses are struggling.. it comes down to employees.. without people none of these companies would exist.. even with robots.. they can only do so much.. humanity is the most evil species on the planet

  16. Low pay, difficult working environment, and Ahole customers. But hey, you get a cute $300 bonus.

These people have taken workers as a joke for decades. Seems they have not learned their lesson.

  17. I don't know why so many companies are looking for employees. Didn't you just tell a populations of ready, willing, and able Americans that their jobs were NON_ESSENTIAL? Took their jobs and now they are faced with back bills and evictions? Hmmm i wonder. Media is a joke, Short sighted.

  18. I applied to this Luxottica store. Mind you this company generates billions of dollars a year. Applied for store as management, this store is losing thousands of dollars a week because of shortage and somebody not able to sell the glasses. When I told her my salary requirements, I will still deny the job. Mind you this company generates billions a year, The store applied to is losing thousands of dollars a week. But the company says we hate you so much we rather not pay you the money and let the store lose thousands of dollars. Yet these corporations like to say that we’re lazy and we don’t want to work,we don’t wanna work for lousy wages! One more thing to add the stores so short staffed that has to close on the weekends.. Think about that closed on the weekend that is the busiest days of the week because they can’t staff the store. Yet they don’t want to pay a living wage.

  19. You clowns told us to follow our dreams and to start our own businesses now you cry foul lol. The millennials are changing history we've learned to never rely on a job as what happened in 2007ish. I am one of those and started my own business no kids.

  20. I worked for $2.35/hour back when that was minimum wage. That equates to about $15/ hour today. Living on $31,000/ year is do able. Want to make more? Learn a trade. Half the time these kids at fast food restaurants won't even listen to what I am saying. They just hit a button on the register and ask if I would like large fries with that. Then I tell them I ordered a Salad. "No. I don't want fries with that." You want $16/ hour? Do your job. Most kids think that if they are at work they are doing their job. There were plenty of workers pre-Covid. Now they got unemployment and they like that free money. Plenty of workers that just don't want to work now. That is the shortage.

  21. You are acting like the 300 bonus is some manner of gift. You talk about labour shortage when you specifically mean low wage high hour jobs that historically take advantage of workers. How about you discuss the rest of the jobs? I've been putting out resumes for 2 years and heard very little back. There are lots of ads but no interviews. Maybe look into that sector vs the service jobs that most folks are wisely opting out of.

  22. I work at the Hard Rock Cafe I assure you there is nothing that is going to draw people to come and work for this business. Start by treating your people better. Stop trying to bribe them into coming into work and establishment that does not have the dignity and the respect to treat its employees with such.

  23. Hit me up when they raise minimum wage to 30$ an hour. The workforce might collectively reconsider joining back when that happens 😏
