Your son was a CRIMINAL! Stop blaming others for your failure as a parent!
The problem is we don’t stand up for what’s right. Had her son followed the law and was cooperative when pulled over, we certainly would not be here. I never will bash the mother but it’s eye opening for her to put all the blame on Mrs. Potter. The woman is clearly remorseful and she made a mistake. This was without malice. God bless everyone!

It's pretty gross how the news plays clips like this trying to get sympathy for this woman and her son. He was already a career criminal at 20. He had active warrants and tried to flee an arrest by jumping in his car and taking off. Kim Potter should not even be in prison. He was afraid to go to jail not afraid of the police. Talk about fake news. I'm sorry for his mom but she is at fault too.

How many veteran officers in this country do you suppose would make such a deadly rookie error? An officer experienced enough to be assigned to train other officers fails to tell her firearm from her taser? It's reasonable to question whether her "mistake" was unintentional at all.
Did this women cry over the people that her son has hurt?…I doubt it..She's trash…I don't feel bad that he is gone

Raise your son to respect others and the law and this would not have been a problem. If Daunte had surrendered when he was pulled over (after the police discovered a warrant for his arrest) he would likely be still alive. Black people need to start holding each other accountable first, then let's see what happens next.
