The entire climate change debate hinges on 1 major assumption: that the climate would be completely stable if humans were not influencing it. Yet all scientific evidence shows the climate has been changing continuously and at varying rates since time immemorial, long before humans could have had any possible influence on it. So the idea that climate change is caused entirely by humans is patently false, but they still talk about climate change like we have the power to stop it. Let's just say all humankind reverted to living in huts and caves, with no electricity, no powered vehicles, no power whatsoever beyond what a person can provide with their own strength or with the help of an animal. Bam. Instantly no more polution. But any scientist knows that would not only cause MASSIVE death worldwide, it would also NOT stop the climate from changing. It may affect HOW it changes, but it would not set the world's climate into some kind of magical equilibrium. That idea is science fiction, not fact.
