The pandemic was devastating to the whole world including China, but crippled the USA because of President Trump & his deliberate actions to play down the threat. While the pandemic was claiming lives in the millions, Trump & his cohorts were making detailed plans on 1. Start a disinformation campaign of election fraud, 2. Propagate the "BIG LIE" that he won the election. 3. Organize a carefully orchestrated insurrection (which included GOP politicians, the Pentagon with Gen. John Flynn – brother of convicted felon Michael Flynn & other sympathetic military brass) to overturn the certification of the results of a Biden Victory, ultimately resorting to violent attacks on the Capitol by Republican & diehard Trumpists. Dealing with the pandemic successfully was & is within the ability of the medical & scientific community but dealing with a future, well planned attack by a determined MOB on our seat of Government (with the pandemic the lessons learnt was how to organize, contain & treat a deadly infection but with insurrection the lessons learnt by plotters is to return to the drawing board & recalibrate their efforts so a future attack will be devastatingly successful). Determining the origin of a pandemic is academic & more in the field of preventative measures. Determining the Why, Who, What & When of the January 6th seditious attack is to determine if we still have a Republic & how we can save it.
