Florida’s 7th Judicial Circuit State Attorney R.J. Larizza said it was a “sad” but “not difficult” decision to charge a teen as an adult with first-degree murder. The teen alleged stabbed a 14-year-old girl with a knife 114 times.

The charge is absolutely appropriate, the perpetrator of any murder this heinous should be charged as an adult. The killer is clearly insane, this is not normal human behavior for any age.

Why does he sound apologetic to charge him as adult?? He was prepared with a knife, lured her to a secluded location in the middle of the night, stabbed her over 100 times, got rid of murder weapon and lied to authorities, that’s pretty much premeditated adult crime. The cherry on top was when he posted a selfie with caption "Hey guys has anybody seen Tristyn lately?" while sitting in a patrol car. Straight up psychopathic.
Depending on the crime, young people SHOULD be charged as adults! I sincerely hope that this starts a trend.
