For those of you that do not speak the language, the boy says a sentence at the very beginning of the video that does not get translated with subtitles (he says the sentence within the first couple seconds). He says "we left papa in Kiev." Note that this is very different than him saying "papa stayed in Kiev." This boy feels like they abandoned their father; they LEFT him there. Even though they did not abandon him, it is clear that the boy will feel responsible should his father die. And for those of you that do not know the whole story, the father told the boy that he needs to leave because he cannot protect him while he is in Kiev. The father chose to stay behind to fight.

    No offense to you Americans, but it is good that the movement regarding gender that has infected the west did not get to Eastern Europe. The men in Ukraine are still men. They sent the women and children west, while the men stay behind to fight, and probably die a gruesome death. Men do this not because men believe women and children are "weak," but because they are cherished.

  35. I believe this is a little girl actually! The child uses feminine verbs when talking about themself. So heartbreaking to see such a small child having to experience this, I wish their family and all others affected by this the absolute best 🙁
