11. I think some of these places need to contact their previous employees and find out why they aren't coming back. I think there is more too it than just unemployment benefits. Number one is day care available in the area yet. Also the busiest time for restaurants is supper time. After a year of spending that time with their kids, I can see many women not wanting to go back to a shift where they essentially don't see their children, Another factor is many low wage people have moved away to cheaper housing. Not to mention that a lot of their previous workers have probably found other jobs, you know the type that do not rely of tips.
