In 2020, US became a net annual petroleum exporter for the first timer since at least 1949. What does it means? US could make more money if the price of petroleum increase.

So, basically, the worlds oil-producing countries would have to produce more oil than there are now, essentially what Russia account for in the short term to claim oil markets, the US and the world are looking at higher fuel price, the real question is for how long now, weeks, months, quarters or years, the bad thing is high fuel prices, but what goes up like a rocket, usually falls like a rock, and thus, why oil-producing countries should be producing more oil than ever, yes, I know this will lead to lower oil prices for them, if not, no worries, your oil customers will drive less, use more public transportation, or those that can afford it, will switch over to EVs, trust me, it's already happening, so what $4+ average US price and high in Cali, could go up 25% to 50% more or worst-case scenario even more, now here's the funny thing, there's actually plenty of oil available, just saying, look at the stock markets, if you're a car company that's making EVs, it’s time to gamble, increase production numbers

the United States of America has enough crude / oil to sustain us BUT CEO's and oil companies SHIP it out of the country they sell it for more profit this way, so when you all are up in arms about why gas is so expensive b/c it's about Profit for them. Most of our gas – oil is imported from Russia (this is why it's going up) and if we go to war with Russia (it's about to go higher) I am okay with it if we can help save ppl's lives. Wanna be mad well, take it up with Big Oil, the ONLY reason we don't have enough here now and why we pay so much in the USA is b/c keystone/ excel and alike sell most of our "home" crude to other Countries and we have to import (which is high but lower then our own) so who's to blame it sure isn't Biden… When the pipelines were trying to go in 5yrs ago keystone pipeline was being fought for by some Americans and I wondered why they didn't look up the Public PDF files that stated the oil from that pipeline (like many others) was NOT for USA consumption and why so many thought it was and fought for it (some still do) and why it's not for you or me or anyone in the USA.. (it just destroyed lots of land) no one seemed to question it they just assumed it was for the USA. Yeah MOST those big oil companies in the USA don't care they just want a profit and thats why our gas is high b/c we have to import it for less than our own want to sell it..
