    I from Saint – Petersburg, Russia. My name is Alexander, 30 years old, I am a Lighting Designer at the main concert venue of the city – Concert Hall "Oktyabrsky".

    When we go to a rally on Nevsky Prospekt, we are beaten with batons, our arms are broken, and if there is any resistance, even with a word, we are imprisoned allegedly for inflicting bodily harm on police officers, drugs are planted on many, extremism is attributed to the majority, some even terrorism. We do not have a country, but a sewing factory for sewing fake articles for those who disagree with the desire of one group of people by prior conspiracy to rule the country and rob citizens. It's just incredibly amazing when you are not guilty of anything, but everyone around – policemen, judges, and other powerful people – say that you are 100% guilty, your guilt is clear, and there is no need to even prove it 🤦‍♂. It is not clear whether they all play a role, like in a theater, or whether they really believe in what is happening, like zombies. This is a comical situation over which you only want to grieve and cry.

    Most, rightly, are afraid. After all, the average salary of a resident of St. Petersburg, the second capital of the country, is 35,000 rubles, while the cost of renting a one-room apartment is 20 thousand rubles or more. What if they put you in the prison? In addition to wasted time, prison deprivation and moral devastation for such a brazen injustice – then you are a former prisoner for society – and these are again taken away rights, and discrimination. And if you already have children, a family, elderly parents, dependents?
