Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., clashed at a Senate Rules Committee meeting to consider the “For The People” voting rights bill. Schumer said that Democrats were making the bill a priority after certain states passed restrictive voting laws, while McConnell called it a “partisan effort.”

It really is disgusting; both sides are flawed but one (the GOP obviously) is totally disingenuous when it comes to voting rights or any other policy proposal that would benefit the AVERAGE American. The GOP literally hasn't had a platform for years now, in 2020 the RNC decided to for-go an official party policy platform for the first time in the modern history of the party. They ultimately decided at the WH behest that they would just "support Trumps America First Agenda". Now compare that to the nuanced policy proposals of the other party touching every sphere of American life public and private. Like them or hate them at least they made a sincere effort. The contemporary GOP's sole interest is protecting crony capitalists, maintaining conservative political and economic oligarchy, and power for powers sake. They will continue to espouse and utilize anti-democratic views and tactics, continue to fight and re-fight culture wars that have long been won by the educated, secular, majority. Worse is they don't even try to hide their intentions. They just bank on rigged rules and political apathy from the masses to continue on. "Voter rights bill" = destroying voter rights
We never had any serious concerns about voting integrity back in the days of old fashioned paper ballots which were cast in an open box and hand counted in the open with observers from all parties involved.
The invention of the voting machine was the biggest threat to voting integrity in human history. Computer code in these machine can be written to flip, siphon, or otherwise manipulate the count in a myriad of ways and then cover up the tracks of the manipulation in such a way that it is undetectable upon post-vote examination. Having machines connected to the internet either physically or via WiFi is even more absurd. That does nothing but open the door for real-time manipulation in addition to pre-programmed manipulation.
Another type of fraudulent activity was clearly observed in the vote tallies in the early morning vote counts in several states following election night. One candidate had vote tallies instantly and drastically decrease from previous totals. Clearly this is impossible. You can't cast a negative vote. This is the equivalent of traveling back in time. All vote totals must increase monotonically for every candidate. This is a very simple mathematical concept.
Voting machines must be abandoned. We can never have confidence in our election process when it is controlled by centralized computer code. This should be blatantly obvious. In a world of cyber criminals, hackers, and rampant digital data breeches, we don't acknowledge this enormous potential for fraud? What is wrong with you people?

Hey Chucky, I needed an ID to pick up my JCPenney e-commerce order. To board a plane, to apply for a bank account, mortgage, etc. The soft bigotry of low expectations is why u think a black or non white person cannot find the smarts to be able to obtain an ID in this day and age. Jerk!
