Two weeks after Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder in the death of George Floyd, the former Minneapolis police officer is asking for a new trial. NBC News’ Meagan Fitzgerald explains why Chauvin’s lawyers say he did not receive a fair trial and whether the judge is likely to grant a retrial.

The motions submitted were a joke. A 4 page brief with weak points. If he had the money for a real attorney he wouldn’t be in this situation. Public defender level legal skills at best.

The motion was submitted the prosecutor and the defense agreed to proceed with the trial.
2 the motion for change of venue was brought up before the trial. The ruling of the Court was “As far as change of venue, I do not think that that would give the defendant any kind of a fair trial beyond what we are doing here today,” Cahill said.”I don’t think there’s any place in the state of Minnesota that has not been subjected to extreme amounts of publicity on this case.”
3 You cannot changed location outside of Minnesota due jurisdictional issues. The first thing the courts must decide on is weather or not the new venue has jurisdiction.

George Floyd is the same person that held a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach demanding cash.
In 2009, George Floyd was arrested for a 1st-degree felony charge, as per police criminal records/history/past, of assault and armed robbery he took part in 2007 and spent five years in prison for breaking into a lady’s house with the intent to rob her. George agreed that he wore a blue uniform to look like a government employee to gain the lady’s trust, and eventually pave his way into the house.
The lady soon realized that the person was impersonating to be a government worker, she tried to shut the door but Floyd brute-forced his way into the house. Consequently, a Ford truck pulled up to the house’s main entrance, five people exited the truck and went straight inside the lady’s house.
According to Daily Mail (UK), the court report mentions that the victim identified George as the criminal, tallest of all the robbers, who pressed a pistol to her stomach and forced his way into the house. George Floyd’s height was 6 foot 6 inches.
It was a political process orchestrated by Democrats with BLM jurors. Correct? Miserable trial, FLOYD'S FAMILY received $ 27 million before the trial. Nausea, vomiting action.
