Saw a female mockingbird who was nesting in a hedge along a parking lot chase a cat, ON FOOT, clean out of the lot & off the premises. She could have taken wing & buzzed the cat; but she chose to run on the ground. I nearly pee'd my pants laughing, because I'd never seen a bird do such a thing! I imagine the cat was just as astonished as I was!
