It’s such a tragedy… you can’t see any passengers but actually they’re everywhere, in the soil, on the trees, even in your breath, because they’re in ashes or in the air 🙁
Just feel like it’d be very rare for a Chinese person to commit suicide this way. But anything could happen tho. Just an intuition and personal opinion.

Pilot murder/suicide for sure… only way an aircraft dives in like that! No SPIN or GLIDE just nose down vertical impact.
Pilots of the MU5735:
1. Captain: Yang Hongda, 32, had 6709 flight hours, the son of another China Eastern captain, had a 1-year-old daughter.
2 First officer: Zhang Zhengping, 59, a pilot for 40 years, had 31769 flight hours. Trained by Boeing in Seattle for 8 months, became a Captain 3 years later. He had trained more than 100 pilots at China Eastern Airlines, including the Captain Yang. He was expected to retire this year.
3. Second officer: Ni Gongtao, 27, had 556 flight hours.
