This is why the UN Refugee agency as well as agencies from aid agencies need to be at the border checkpoints to provide aid and get them to safe locations to prevent human trafficking. The US says it is a leader in stopping human trafficking but no where does there seem to be evidence of US assistance at the border or popup assistance centers. Large cargo aircraft carrying in motions and other aid are landing all over Europe but unlike previous refugee crisis the airplanes are returning empty rather than full of those most at risk. Why isn't Sky news and other news agencies posing this question to the US administration? So far the Biden administration is totally silent despite pleas and offers from throughout the US to offer assistance. It makes me ashamed to be a US citizen. Please reach out to press organizations, elected officials, the US State Department and the President and demand answers and action immediately. Otherwise we are condoning trafficking.
