I love how the topic everyone is pushing is about some crime he (Gaetz) is under investigation for instead of the actual topics at hand. Our military will become the weakest its ever been if we continue down this path. Fact is we started to lower requirements to bring more ppl into the military to ease their soft egos and insecurities. This demonstrates why we need calm, thoughtful leadership in this country. Secretary Austin knows what he's doing and the American people can rest well at night knowing that he's leading our American men and women. It's truely a privilege to serve this country and General Austin has done it it in uniform for over three decades with distinction and honor. He's led men in combat, trained thousands of soldiers in the profession of arms, managed large military organizations, jumped out of airplanes, consoled surviving family members of fallen soldiers, oversaw the development of Army weapon systems…and the list goes on. He's done more for this country in his sleep than the Congressman will ever do over his lifetime. What puzzles me is that there are enough misguided Americans who thought it wise to send this buffoon to Congress in the first place.
Gaetz was perfectly okay with our assessment that Russia would have no problem taking over Ukraine but now that Ukraine is standing up to Russia he is upset with the reality of the situation. Another pro-Putin troll?

I thank Secretary Austin for staying on point , unlike Congressman Gaetz (R-FL) who threw red herrings into the testy argument over a request for a budget increase. Austin argued on point like a four-star general.
Gaetz taking a knife and slashing at Austin's defense strategies were based on the false premise that one can't strategize on defense while educating his or her base on other matters at the same time. Gaetz's premise is faulty and so too is his conclusion.
I am so sick of hearing the word "WOKE", it is too broad of a word or slang. It is something that I believe is used by people like Gaetz that intellectually can not express their thoughts in clear and understandable sentences. Everyone that uses it should be asked "what is your definition of woke?"
