  1. This was one of the only episodes that didn't feel horrifically exploitative and had a relatively happy ending. She looks so proud of herself, I'm glad she found a way that worked for her. The one-size-fits-all treatment is one of the biggest blockades to a person getting themselves together once they are ready to do so.

  2. Wow wow wow. When I first saw the episode, it was like you could look in her eyes and there was just nothing there. But here's she's lucid, clear and just full of personality. Happy for her.

  3. ‘Miriam’ was my all time favorite story. I loved getting to know her as an addict, and I’m so happy to see that she found the strength and the clarity to find her best life. You are beautiful, Miriam- inside and out! Best Wishes for your future! ❤️

  4. I can relate to her coming from a former addict myself lm clean from crack 2 months. Its a constant struggle every day. But its only one day at a time.

  5. Regarding her weight- a lot of anti psychotic drugs/ drugs for bipolar and what not that would be prescribed for someone in her situation cause rapid and significant weight gain. It's a symptom of her newfound wellness. We don't know if it's from food.

  6. Always thought about you, ever since i saw your story on intervention, and wondered if you made it ok, just wanted to say that you look beautiful and so happy, proud of you

  7. She was def out there on the Intervention episode, but thats what to expect when you do so much dust every day. Some brain damage obviously persists, but it's possible to regain your sanity for the most part. I noticed when I stopped smokin even just weed, it took over a month to really see a difference but its just subtle like that. With drugs like this you never know how much damage you've done since you slowly regain faculties you'd forgotten were even affected like memory and coordination…
