Does Blinken really think the people responsible for these atrocities will ever be brought to justice? Why do we have people in our government as stupid as Blinken? Putin is real strategist. NATO's leaders thought Russia wants to conquer the whole Ukraine. It's interesting that they are thinking that Russia is weak, cannot take over Russia quickly. From my opinion, Russia is just stalling times, the soldiers advanced slowly, gave time to civilians to be evacuated. But the problem is Ukraine President, Zelensky is forcing the civilians to stay.
But it doesn't matter. The purpose is to use Zelensky, although Zelensky is already being used as puppet by the west. Putin is using Zelensky to show the true face of NATO's leaders.
Putin knew that almost all Europe NATO's countries are having new election. Pandemic has put all people on Earth into suffering. War on Ukraine will test how NATO's leaders lead their countries. Who will those leaders prioritize? It's citizens first or becomes USA's lapdog, hence let citizens suffer more? What kind of decision will they make? Favoring the well being of the citizens or USA?
By stalling times in Ukraine, Russia let the issue keep becoming the focus of Europe NATO's leaders instead of it's own citizens. Hungary and Serbia chose it's people, hence won big. Next, it would be France to be tested.
USA's real objective might not just to weaken Russia, but EU. Remember that, EU being weaken is a plus for USA's economy. EU is after all was establish to counter USA's domination in market.

Being everything else the same imagine a country with a baker, a fishmonger and a singer with no gold and another with a baker, a fishmonger and a guard to protect gold inside a vault. Which one lives better? Which one is wealthier? Which option would the kid choose? There is not benefit in buying to sell because no value is added. Do you understand? Gold becomes wealth when is used, sparing the cost of protection. Because gold is increasingly more expensive to dig out as there is less underground and is increasingly cheaper as there is more on offer overground there would be a point when nobody would be mining the mineral. How much cost the taxpayers to protect gold? Cryptocurrencies are a number but money is transferable debt, a promise to give value for value, a number and a name. Who would sell last, capitalist or communist? Exchanging gold for goods and services is barter and everything useful is a store of value. Humanity is throwing fortunes to the rubbish bin, buying, selling, moving gold stupidly from one vault to another paying the cost of transportation, storage and protection of a mineral valuable for its usefulness in jewellery and manufacturing because don’t understand money and pays for scarcity instead of usefulness. An innocent kid understands because sees gold for what it really is, a mineral that does not satisfy any essential needs and is not particularly beautiful, and he doesn’t care if it is rare. And wants to understand because he is not averted to say “you are right”, that also means “i am wrong” because he is honest and has an open mind. The difference between the gold standard and gold is that the gold standard is money and gold is a mineral, and that it is more convenient to carry around notes redeemable for gold stored in a bank than gold. Also the gold standard adds protection against theft since banks are extremely protected at a cost and the notes identifiable to try to guarantee that only the legitimate owner withdraws the gold.
