1. Its never too late to stop a non existent threat, unless you are using that threat to try to destroy democracy, then you are way too late.

2. Nothing wrong with developing alternative energy technologies. Just make sure what you develop actually fixes the problems of carbon based fuels and just doesn't obscure the negative aspects of fossil fuel consumption under layers of technological window dressing. In the meantime can people actually afford to heat their homes and drive their cars to their workplace without being demonized by the political left? Until green energy is perfected, sustainable, affordable, reliable and carbon neutral, we should be able to use fossil fuels which are plentiful and less expensive to purchase. The dual focus should include the continued effort to make their consumption cleaner, ever more efficient and less harmful to the planet. That is perhaps less of a technological challenge than perfecting solar, wind and other so called green energy technologies.

5. Global warming has nothing to do with auto exhaust or emissions. There has been a substantial rise in seismic and volcanic activity over the last hundred years especially in the oceans. This has increased the temperature of the land, the sea, and the air. The earth's climate is most likely changing back to what it was 2,000 years ago when it was much warmer. 10. Imagine if all of our roads had solar technology — that would supply a LOT of power. Then imagine if everyone drove electric (or hybrid) cars which were constantly being charged by these roads as they drove on them, and any surplus energy would be transmitted into the power grid. All we have to do is solve the problem of power storage (lithium mining is notoriously bad for the environment), and we will be golden.

15. Hilarious green washing. Solar panels need consistent levels of sunlight, the clue is in the name. They are consumables, that is, they have to be replaced every 25 years or so. They can be recycled but it requires smelting, as does their manufacture. Please enlighten viewers on how smelting will be done without fossil fuels. These constructions require metal frames. Also requires smelting. Fundamentally solar energy is only useful for generating electricity for domestic or low demand commercial consumption. The vast majority of fossil fuel consumption is used in heavy industry.
    You cannot make cement, steel or fertiliser with solar energy.
    Including a clip with the military is just taking the piss, the US military are the biggest polluters of the lot. A few solar powered tents? Let's see how those panels will work powering a tank or combat aircraft. Does anyone honestly believe that any military is going to go carbon zero ever?
    Every indicator shows that solar energy is being used to provide energy in addition to fossil fuel use which also continues to grow. Civilization as we know it is inextricably intwined with fossil fuels.

    I really wish people would stop kidding themselves and that media outlets like this would stop feeding people false solutions so their viewers can have a cosy feel good feeling which is totally at odds with the ecocoligal and therefore civilisational collapse we are now experiencing.

Now that the solar costs are down and the utility rates are continuing to rise, solar makes more sense than ever and is a great way to reduce the dirty energy while saving up to 50% on your electric bill. They've extended the 26% federal tax credit for 2022 as well. It's a win win win.

26. Long life low cost  perovskite cells from non toxic sources , that have a high efficiency are what is needed . The tech is close but not there yet . This is what is needed for solar windows and other apps .When it is produced it may be 1/20 the cost per watt of todays units . You can also use the existing power grid instead of expensive storage .

The only way to make it done, every nation must be supported by it's government not to rely on harmful gases to produce energy, but go in alternative source which is sufficient and less harmful to the environment. Solar is good create/ built a massive solar farm to replenish the energy needed. Also go for wind power supply, there's a lot good source of energy. Much better not rely to coal power plant.

An Edison generator and dynamos power plant can supply continuous peak power without fuel or pollution. The PUC was created by Congress to assure these inexpensive power plants were built. The PUC was not able to overcome government hydroelectric power plants and high voltage power lines.
