  1. I wonder if Augustine is still alive. She was in poor health at age 68 in 2009. There's a good chance that she may have passed away by now. It's disturbing to think of the mess she would leave for her kids when she's dead.

  2. I saw the follow-up & she was still trashing her home. Disgusting! Thank god for her daughter who took her son & raised him! They found 2 dead flattened cats in her home & she showed absolutely NO emotion, you know they had to attract flies & maggots & she sat on her porch during the hoard clean-up and never lefted a finger to help! She needs to be in a retirement home so they can care for her.

  3. In a follow up episode augustine has a breathing thing she does.. augustine said she can't breathe but the doctor says there's nothing wrong with her. The daughter said she was faking it. I went to watch her episode and the first thing that's on screen is sevin dust all over her clothes..that stuff is super toxic to be in direct contact with….maybe she's not faking…

  4. Awww – I did not expect that at all 😥 (happy tears) what a fantastic young man he grew up to be, in spite of all of disadvantages and pain he had to overcome ❤️

  5. This episode, man. I feel sorry for Jason. I know this was shot like 10 years ago but I for real wanna find this guy and give him a hug, buy him a drink and tell him he did good for himself despite where he came from.

  6. I relate with Jason. Not that my mother was a hoarder but she encouraged me to engage in things such as science and nature too. In a world around me where chaos was eminent

  7. She was absolutely beautiful when she was young. Something must have gone horrifically wrong in her mind. She was extremely mentally ill.

  8. Like everybody on this show is obese, including the therapist. Can't take care of their bodies or their houses or anything else. Disgusting.
