Stop the pathetic pretence at democracy… Marine Le Pen has about as much chance of winning the French Presidential Election as a snowball’s chance in Hell… The ‘two round’ presidential electoral system in France (and 82 other ‘democratic’ countries) is a rigged political system that has been specifically designed to prevent any non-establishment (populist) candidate from ever winning… How it works… To win outright you need over 50% of the first vote, this never happens as there are so many candidates… It then goes to a second vote between the top two, whereupon all the establishment parties join forces to ensure victory. This guarantees that the people’s ‘first choice’ for president is ‘never elected’ unless pro-establishment… It is in effect, a dirty trick of the status quo and irrefutable proof that Western democracy is an illusion. (Note: The one vote, ‘first past the post’ electoral system is a rigged anachronism in regards to parliaments, but it’s the only fair practice when it comes to electing exceptional individuals.)

    If they go the Fascist way, they vote for a pro-Putin, anti-Democracy, anti-Immigration, isolationist France. And in this new world, that is assured FAILURE and pariah status. France is NOT an Empire and can't live in its own alt-right bubble. Its power projection is limited to Africa and some tropical Islands, NOTHING to build a self-centered future on.
    I mean look at the way Hungary was treated for electing a prick??? France will get a LOT harsher treatment because of its status AND because Macron was the total opposite. It's like the USA after Obama when it shifted to that Trump lunacy. That is EXACTLY how other leaders will view that country. Like a freakshow and a despised ally, still allowed in the club, only by necessity and geography.
