Evan Low, like Dr. Richard Pan, belongs to a class of evil Democrats who are trying to turn California into Shanghai. AB5 affected countless companies. Instead of hiring a select group of well-qualified independent contractors, my company was forced to hire more under-qualified idiots and split the total hours of work among under-qualified people. The result: Terrible pay for everybody, and worse company performance. This is Communism 101.
I'm sure california companies would be willing to see that increase in cost and reduction in productivity.

It sounds great but for us working more than one part-time job just to survive in California. With full-time being capped at 32 hours(with 32 being considered part-time previously). Anyone working part-time hours will be reduced dramatically because they see us as disposable.
Why not? In America most ppl work to their graves.
