I’m sorry. They’re 2 months in and they’ve taken 40% of ukraines territory. We were in Afghanistan for 20 years and it fell after 2 weeks.
In no way has Russia been losing. There is no evidence to suggest that the Ukrainians have had any strategic wins at all. At this point they’ve had 5 million of their citizens flee the country. They have had every one of their major cities besieged by Russian forces and have absolutely no economy any longer. They will likely have 1/3rd of their entire population flee as refugees by the end of the summer.
Let’s look at Russia. Not a single attack within its borders. The ruble has already rebounded to its previous price. All of its oil is still being purchased by europe and China has agreed to buy any remaining oil that the rest of the world doesn’t purchase, but now the price of oil is $30 a barrel more than it was 3 months ago. That’s another $300 million a day in revenue that the Russian government can now rely on. Meaning by this time next year they’ll have $100 billion more revenue than they would have had. Which will easily fund their military expenses.
There isn’t a single metric that Russia has lost. It’s only embarrassed the west and shown them to be unreliable and weak when it comes to the aggression that Russia has shown towards their supposed “ally” in Ukraine.
I expect that by the end of the summer Russia will have taken Odessa and then launch a false flag attack on Belarus to get them to join the war. At which point the Russians will push north from Odessa as the Belarusians push south and they will meet in the middle and have Kyiv cut off from any and all resources. No food, fuel, munitions. They’ll cut off their water and electricity and wait out for the remaining refugees to flee. Once the city is a ghost town they will hammer it with artillery and air strikes until the city is a wasteland and zelensky will be president of the ashes.
What natural resources are in Ukraine ?
Ukraine has extremely rich and complementary mineral resources in high concentrations and close proximity to each other. The country has abundant reserves of coal, iron ore, natural gas, manganese, salt, oil, graphite, sulfur, kaolin, titanium, nickel, magnesium, timber, and mercury.

Well I think Russia has two goals in Ukraine.
First not to allow Ukraine to join NATO which they are succeeding.
Second is to Get the two Russian speaking regions and that hasn’t been achieved yet.
in two months Russia conquered the east and practically all of the south of Ukraine in addition to having destroyed all military infrastructure – all this taking into account the billion-dollar aid and the most modern equipment that NATO and the US have sent to the Ukrainian army.
