Recent CDC data shows that the maternal mortality rate among Black women was more than double that of white women in the U.S. in 2020. Overall rates have remained higher than other developed nations.

  3. Does drug use and drug addiction among pregnant black women have anything to do with the much higher rates of maternal and child mortality, or is it all because of racism?

  5. I have an idea: Let's start a movement similar to how #metoo worked. How many people have had abortions that powerful people were responsible for? For example, how many abortions has Donald Trump paid for/coerced someone into? I'm willing to bet a lot of these politicians out here calling themselves pro-life are personally responsible for an abortion.

  6. We also lead the developed world in severely overweight mothers which leads to………..you guessed it, higher maternal mortality rates.
