  1. Rate hikes to match plummeting profit margin as they let their service quality reach a rocky bottom. They say the touch of midas can turn anything to gold, vestbergs hands turn corporate stocks into laughing stocks. As disgusting as ericcson is in their own right they did warn Verizon. Microsoft dodged a bullet for sure.

  2. I've been "automatically" charged $12.80 a month by YouTube for PRIME service I haven't had for nearly two years. Despite writing and calling YouTube, couple PayPal investigations, a bank card investinvestion, I still get charged.
Then I noticed hundreds of people online complaining about the same YouTube bogus $12.80 charge.

  3. These friggin arsholes.
I knew it was only a matter of time, I'm surprised they waited this long. greedy greedy filthy company.
Not far from where I live there was a parking lot with dozens of disused verizon vans just sitting there rotting. This is just a small example, but corporations need to start being more responsible. Instead of raising rates on something that IS NOT costing them any more, they OWN the god forsaken lines the data is transmitted on. 🤦🏻‍♂ Not lease, or rent, they are owned and most already paid for long ago. this is nothing but a shameless cash grab. Same with ATT, except at least their customer service is half decent and the data speeds are great, plus they keep saving other smaller companies, unlike vzw.
All these big companies are disgusting. Expecting us to just keep dealing with less and less every year over the past 3-10, while they keep turning profits.
Enough is enough, we need to find a way to tell them it's ok with us if they take a loss for a few years while we catch up… or in 5-10 more years of this, they aren't gonna have any customers except government contracts and top 2% of wealthy assholes.

  4. It's hilarious that the telcos are raising rates when their expense lines have actually been decreasing for years. This will leave plenty of space for the competition, if they're clever.

  5. Why would they increase prices when their reception are is getting worse all the time?! I am forced to be a Verizon customer because of a family plan but if it weren’t for that I would never be stuck with them. They are the worst! Hopefully this rate hike will be what has my family member finally agree to move to T-Mobile
