  1. I've had exactly the same thing happen before on a completely different engine. The reason ended up being an improper shaft play using the PMC adapter kit (Not really their fault) causing the gearbox shaft taper to hit the pilot bearing and forcing the crankshaft into the engine. The error was a fraction of a millimeter so I didn't notice it when bolting up the gearbox. The only way I discovered it was by measuring the crank walk at the other end of the engine with and without the gearbox.

  2. 1JZ with G25 550, seems perfect for a response build. Since it is a smaller turbo, surprised Adam said it doesn't peform that well

  4. Awesome build, I really envy the guy who's gonna win in. But at the same time I wish you'd have painted the block, lower pan and valvecovers. Such a small thing that really makes a difference looks wise

  5. i've noticed that almost everytime Adam is working with powertools and Johan is in the shop, Johan turns around to see what's going on almost on instinct

  6. Are thrust washers used in all the cylinders or only in one cylinder ? If one cylinder is it the cylinder closet to the front of the engine or the cylinder closet to the flywheel ?

  7. So is there a plug that you can unplug from your trans or something to where you dont have to push in your clutch when u start it like in Japanese cars?

  8. so many things to love about the red chaser build. Honestly don’t even know what to compliment first lol. Winner is seriously getting a dream car.

  9. since the 4-rotor is NA, the runners between the ITB's and ports need to be considered, different runner-lengths there will affect performance.

  10. I laughed so hard when Johan looked over as Adam was going to town on that carrier bearing. You can tell he truly cares about everything being done right.
