In the country where minorities get labeled in order to deny minority rights . Now that same country gives them a red flag law to abuse . I want my constitutional right to self defense . Constitution do not guarantee none of what they say is a law under that same constitution . Yet notice they improved Supreme court security. So they taking your weapons do to a system they set up to allow police your rights . Now the police failed . They say or do literally nothing about that . Instead they ignore the actual law and make the police state more and more . I repeat police failed at the capital and on the streets . So where is our right to self defense ? They act like that's not the law . Instead we get this .

None of the new laws or reform stops a 18 year old or any felon from ordering a P80 online and assemble his/her own gun, then taking the gun out for mass shootings.
While there is no magic bullet (pun fully intended) this is going to create more problems than it solves. Now you can't trust your partner or your doctor. Veterans like guns. They make us feel safe because we know first hand what can happen. I mean look at what our government is doing. Veterans have already lived in countries with governments like ours. Unfortunately those experiences screwed us in the head. I personally know a multitude of veterans who will stop treatment because of this and more who will never start because of this. Over the years some have killed themselves, some are in prison, and most are just fine. For my next battle buddy that comes home and gets hit with ptsd loses it and kills someone will we have another debate about did they need to die and why didn't they get help? Guess we can cross that bridge next election cycle.
Looking at the majority of insane comments on this story, I doubt that any significant gun control legislation will ever be passed again here in America and this saddens me greatly.

All gun control, background checks, a filter for mental health, and regular training could be done through Well Regulated Community Militias.
