As for "teaching" respect and love, you can't. They can only come naturally as a result of a person's environment. So what are you doing to improve the environment these perpetrators are coming from? What are you doing to improve the wealth of the low and middle classes? What are you doing to improve the education of the low and middle classes? What are you doing to improve the health of the low and middle classes? What are you doing to improve the futures of the low and middle classes? THAT is what will instill a sense of respect and love for their fellow human beings.
