27. Delaware is a very small state; only 3 counties. I remember as a kid, hearing about Joe Biden's daughter and first wife dying in a car crash. The state was in shock. Many people here know the family and have followed his career closely. IMHO, Hunter has long been a class-A jerk and loser. And kind of a degenerate. Beau was the golden boy (tho some of us didn't like it that, because he didn't reveal his cancer for a very long time, very little was getting done in his tenure as DE's Attny General). It was really shocking when, shortly after Beau's death, his wife hooked up w/Hunter, ewww! I figured Joe & Jill only said they were supportive because they didn't want the press to roast their family. How could have been ok with that? Between the two brothers, there were a lot of kids who were probably horrified amidst their grief. How this woman stayed in this marriage for so long…clearly co-dependent as heck, and as she said, liked the nice things. Also not sure why it took her so long to realize any of his problems. Wish her well; she does seem like a great mom.
