People who protesting against abortion says it is about human rights. This law is against human rights. Abortion is illegal now but it will not stop people to get abortion. It will increase illegal operations, which most times causing both mother and baby to death and sometimes a mother can permanently lose her ability to have a child ever again and she can lose her children after all by miscarriage. Also, illegal operations do many other illegal stuffs like organ selling. Also, now doctor cannot recommend a mother to get abortion even if she has a stillborn (dead inside mothers womb or dead after birth) or a child with extreme deformity unless the mother's health is in extreme danger. Also, not just women, men whom cannot offer financial support to all of their children will lose the custody and send to jail. More children then will grow up without parents. How this is for human rights? A small group of people cannot represent the decision of entire nation especially when they are not even a expertise in this area. Lawyers aren't doctors. Also, people all think of situations where mom killing the baby, but before, many doctors won't recommend a mother to go for abortion and educate her about other options like adoption. On the other end, illegal operations will take the procedure as long as they are paid. Illegal operations are really bad and it's happening in some countries. This laws are promoting criminal activities that are against human rights. How this is for human right. People who cannot see the whole picture only think of extreme end but there are many circumstances to consider and a small group of wealthy and educated people who aren't even having any sorts of medical background cannot dictate the decision of entire nation.

All the more reason why the SCOTUS Justices need to be elected by the people and restricted to term limits. The original idea of checks and balance no longer applies. The Justices owe their loyalties to the President and party who gave them job security for life. Shameful, it's no wonder the average citizen give no respect to the so-called justice system.

Im very glad I live in a country where women´s rights are taken seriously.. However, our limit is 12 weeks.
You have 3 months to find out you're pregnant. Also, prevention in form of pills etc.. is very cheap for all women to buy. What will piss me off, if I was an American citizen, if they removed abortion completely. One month is not enough though. I could understand if they reduced the limit from many months to example 12 weeks.

The Court on June 24, 2022 ended the right to abortion in a seismic ruling that shreds half a century of constitutional protection. In a significant curtailment of women’s rights, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, a 1973 landmark decision giving women in America the right to have an abortion before the foetus is viable outside the womb — before the 24-28 week mark.
The ruling sent shock waves sparking protests. Abortion rights — which have been available to women for over two generations — will now be determined by individual States.
Also overturned on Friday, was Planned Parenthood v. Casey, a 1992 case that upheld Roe .The Conservative Justices are picks of Donald Trump who had said he would appoint justices who are “pro life” (opposing abortions).
“ With sorrow — for this court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have lost a fundamental constitutional protection — we dissent,” wrote liberal justices adding that the decision “breaches a core rule-of-law principle, designed to promote constancy in the law”.
“In doing all of that, it places in jeopardy other rights, from contraception to same-sex intimacy and marriage. And finally, it undermines the court’s legitimacy,” liberal Justices wrote.
We the Rights activists are concerned that there could be a domino effect on these other rights.

Before Roe was made law of the land there was a time when women risked losing their lives getting illegal abortions. A time when government denied women control over their reproductive functions, forced them to move forward with pregnancies they didn't want, and then abandoned them once their babies were born.
