I really liked Liz Cheney's closing statement. She sounds so refreshingly sane and solid, calm and confident. She sounded like a mother having a serious conversation with perhaps an adolescent son or daughter about what it means to be honourable, about how to make right choices backed by indisputable facts. Liz Cheney 's policies and the policies that I, as a Liberal, would like to see enacted, are most likely diametrically opposed, but I would love to sit down with her and listen to what she believes in and why.
