Amy Klobuchar said just yesterday on MSNBC that they only need two new senators in the 2022 mid terms to codify RvsW into law.
That could have been done 13 years ago. 57 dem senators. 2 independent senators that caucused with dems, and a majority in the house, and Obama as president. Thats 59 to 41.

The US has been having a problem for a while. Democrats have been fleeing the dumpster fires that are jurisdictions run by Democrats to decent, livable places, made so by Republican governance. A non-political Supreme Court ruled on Roe v Wade. By non-political I mean on this issue, not on any issue. No member of that court was recruited, nominated, or confirmed on issue of abortion. It was not on the radar. A quite political court overturned it.
