I don't believe Gov. Hochul is clear why the US Supreme Court made the above ruling. Let me help this Gov. if I can which is the US Second Second Amendment (The constitution is and will always be the the premise of of the US Judicial Branch)
If she wants us peasants to defend ourselves with muskets, she should lead by example and provide muskets for ALL of HER armed security.
Her "you cant yell fire" analogy is completely bogus. No you cant yell "fire" in a crowded theater. But youre not sewing peoples mouths shut before they enter the theater either. Youre not denying that person their right to speak, youre punishing the bad people for causing a problem.

Why is this governor instilling fear in everyone? She swore to protect the Constitution, but now she spits all over it. Criminals have been walking around with concealed weapons all this time and nothing our was done about that but all of a sudden law abiding citizens who wants to protect themselves are now a threat to society That's crazy, that makes no sense at all. People of New York should have some kind of comfort knowing that there are good guys with guns, People are going to carry concealed and nobody's gonna know who has a gun anyways. People should just have the piece of mind knowing that good people now have guns. And most of all, the criminals now know that good people have guns so now there will be less crimes taking place.
What IS shocking is the blatant disregard for the rights of the THE PEOPLE BY THIS SO CALLED GOVERNOR, more like a wannabe dictator!!
These asshats need to read the Constitution as it RESTRICTS THE FEDERAL AND STATE, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS POWER OVER THE PEOPLE! The Constitution ONLY affirms the rights we already enjoy. I am laughing at GOVERNMENTS thinking they will be able to bar carry in certain places. They may ONLY in places where it is HISTORICALLY supported, any NEW places is prohibited by this ruling and this ruling makes it plain that OPEN CARRY is legal without ANY license or permit requirement. Also, this ruling makes it clear that bans on certain firearms and accessories that are "in common use" are un-constitutional. Its also makes it clear that ALL COURTS MUST use only one step to decide a case, not the two steps courts have used to uphold unconstitutional firearm legislation.
WE NOW KNOW THAT THESE ASSHATS WANT TO HAVE POWER OVER THE PUBLIC ANY WAY POSSIBLE. REMOVAL OF FIREARMS IS JUST THE BEGINNING, JUST LIKE GERMANY PRE-WW2!

Yes, she only likes the guns which protect HER, but not the regular citizens. In these times of high violence in NYC and around I would make a law to require everyone get a training and get a gun and let police just sort things out after or keep watching for proper parking.
