It was already established and verified by the Secret Service that Trump really wanted his SS team to drive him there, sooo…did he ask nicely, with a raised hand, saying something like "Please, kind sirs, might you drive me to the Capitol building where my loving fans await?" or did he ask a bit less politely, like….maybe, "I'm still the f**king President, so you better f**king drive me to the f**cking Capitol, f**king NOW!"
