It seems to me that the father of the mass shooter wanted his son to kill himself. I can’t find any other reason why he would assist with guns in anyway after a suicide attempt and threatening to kill other family members with a knives. If his son offed himself it would help his career since he wanted to run for mayor. He must’ve known his son was going to be trouble in one way or another and it would’ve been better for his career if the son wasn’t around.
The Highland Park shooting begs a question: Would police be transphobic if they stopped a mass shooter who is trans? Should the police be cancelled for it?
Parents should be held accountable as well because they were aware of him being unstable and still helped with him getting access to weapons

This young man engaged the police from his vehicle where his weapon was recovered. Why was he running from the police initially.
